This necklace is approximately 17.5 inches in length with no extender. It falls perfectly on my 9 year old grand daughter so that she is able to pick it up and look at the color and not be choking herself. The colors it turns are nice, but find hard to match up to the color coded sheet. She loves it anyway and is able to find a close enough color. Fast shipping, would recommend the seller.

Very cute necklace, I thought it would be a tad bigger but it was for my little niece so maybe better it wasn't too big. She was born at 24 weeks with so many health problems and now just turned 9! She is doing great with the exception of some behavioral issues at school. I bought her this necklace and a few other "mood changing" items. She was very happy and said "this is going to help me so much at school" :) I am happy

It broke within hours
The necklace broke 2 hours after giving it to my daughter on Easter. It's too bad it was very pretty, but clearly they need a stronger chain.
