Made from Northern White Ash and built with a foam core, wood fungo bats are ideal for coaches who hit a lot of fly balls and ground balls for their team. Their end-weight design and lighter weight mean you get more distance and speed with a lighter swing.

Puts the fun in fungo.
Good fungo for the price. Does everything I need it to as a high school baseball coach. The only weakness is that it is made of ash and the grains will eventually split because it’s an open grained wood. This can be negated by taping the barrel of the bat and should las several seasons. Pair this with a nice grip and it’s almost perfect. I suggest lizard skins brand grip.Bottom line: for a low price it’s a great fungo, nothing beats the sound feel and handle of a wood fungo. If you want a better longer lasting wood look at a maple(or other closed grain woods) fungo.

Excellent Product!
This is an official Major League Baseball bat that is 36” long. It was longer than I expected but it probably stated that in the description and I did not read through it....so thats my fault. It’s very well made, just the right weight, sanded so there is no splintering and perfect for what I needed it for.....home protection. If you are looking for a wooden bat that will meet all the requirements of a bat I highly recommend this one.

Really nice bat
I can't believe how awesome this thing is. I have coached youth softball and baseball for nearly 10 years and I have always just used a players bat for hitting balls for infield practice. I am currently coaching a 9-10 year old baseball team. I have a bucket of about 50 baseballs and with this bat I can go through the entire bucket time after time after time hitting very accurate grounders, line drives, and pop flies anywhere on the field I want.I absolutely love this bat.

So much better than using conventional bat
Whoa, this thing’s FUN. Guess I should act all cool hitting endless grounders and pop ups to grandkids, but it’s just fun to do it so easily that I keep grinning like a kid myself. Always just used a normal bat when coaching Little League. Now I realize I should have had one of these! Was worried about breaking it when first received because it’s pretty slender and light, but it’s holding up great. Not nearly as tiring to go through a bucket with this thing. A simple pleasure.

Inexpensive, great practice tool
Solid fungo, great for hitting hard grounders and exerting minimal efforts during practice (youth baseball in my case). Fly balls take a little practice, but you get much more distance easily. If you don't want to hit so far, just choke up a lot and it's still light and balanced. When hitting to adults, this fungo will allow you to go maximum speed without significant effort.

Fun is right
LOL, I never knew a bat could be fun. Guy at work said I should try one when I mentioned how tiring practice could be.This is great. I can just swat balls to wherever I want. I can send the kids backpedaling to the fences, give them fly balls way up in the sun, or just bop a few dozen grounders with ease. Should have gotten one a long time ago.

Halloween perfection
Yeah yeah I know... I know... I destroyed a perfectly good bat... IF it makes you feel better, it was very hard to destroy. Took me two days of sanding just to make it look aged. Super quick shipping.

Great addition to practice. Great "pop" and easy to aim
Great addition to practice. Great "pop" so the boys know exactly when the ball is hit and can react. Also easy to aim, I barely swing and can send a pop fly to outfield in a second almost on target. Love that's it a fraction of the cost of Dick's or Academy too.

Poor quality for the price
Was after a nice bat read up on these also on youtube they get good reviews so bought one.now that it came straight from america via global shipping i thought id get a great bat..nope it was not finished properly very deep grain lines and even slight splitting.. just goes to say we in uk are sold junk this proves it's no different in other countries...the bat in america is 12 dollars without shipping and import duties i paid just over £26 we in this country are ripped off on everything

Decent for the price but bat chipped after 6 months.
Good bat for the price. Got this for my husband in September. He's used it regularly for hitting balls at indoor training with our son and his team and it's performed well. 6 months after purchase, a chunk of the end/side of the bat came off. It's still usable for now. Likely a case of "you get what you pay for".

It's a bat
If your looking to play ball, buy a batt somewhere else this isn't that good of quality. If you want something to keep around the house for intruders this would work. Ball, No home safety yes.
