Good replacement tank. Can't talk to the fitment because I didn't use it on a B&S engine. I have an old chipper with a Kohler engine that had a cracked, hard plastic tank. No reasonably priced replacements, so I made a bracket and mounted this tank instead. The cap works as it should. Fuel shut off and grommet don't leak. So far so good!

The media could not be loaded. Actually, this is not even worth a one star. I threw it away the other day. I rebuilt my Rototiller engine this past fall and purchased this OEM replacement gas can which leaks severely above the shut off valve as you can see. I had to push it out of my greenhouse because it was leaking like a faucet Indoors. it was just below freezing in the video, but that had nothing to do with it leaking because it had been inside when I put the fuel in it. It contaminated my entire tomato bed so good luck if you purchase one of these. I had a mechanic install it as well as review the problem of the leakage. The threads would not even seal in the bottom of the gas can. With all that said, I hope you don’t buy one of these. Mine went into the trash, not a good value, nothing of quality, and certainly not a worthwhile investment. I cannot remember ever buying a product that I was so dissatisfied with. Hope you do not do the same.

The tank fit perfectly. The only problem I had was when it came time to refill the tank. I couldn't get the cap off. Finally with great effort it came off (it went on just fine). I filled up the tank and couldn't get the cap back on. It was as though the cap had shrunk.I know it makes no sense but there it was. I still had the cap from the old tank so I just used that. No idea what would cause a plastic cap to swell until it wouldn't go back on.Fortunately I had the extra cap. The tank works perfectly and was an exact fit to the Super Tomahawk chipper shredder.

Perfect fit and replacement on Troy-Built Horse model (Briggs&Stratton) tiller. Less than five minutes to replace the old leaking one.

Bought this to replace an old metal gas tank, it wasn’t a perfect fit but I made it work. The quality is good, fast shipping, I’d order it again if I needed another.
