It blocks Most wind. Because the glass can be bent in and be more of a "Wrap around" style, far less wind will reach your face behind it. That said, you're still going to get a little, just considerably less than from styles with a more traditional "flat" front.

Q: What is the best way to clean these sunglasses without damaging the scratch resistant coating?

The BEST way to clean this Sunglass (and any pair of glasses) is with a mild detergent soap (such as "Dawn") and then shake off the water, and pat dry with a paper towel or microfiber towel. Alternatively, Amazon offers many non-alcohol bases lens cleaning wipes that also do a nice job. But hand washing always provides the best results and prolongs the coating. Thanks for asking!
