Princess Smartypants

I bought the book after reading an article, which mentioned this title and how funny it was. It is funny and has a modern message for girls and still manages to be about a princess. It's a great book for any age. This will be my go to brithday present for the year. Highly recommend it.

Item in perfect condition. It was rare to find so I was happy to find it. Delivery on time.

I actually bought this book along with other female empowering fairy tales for a friend who is a teacher. She commented that it was fairytale week so everyday they read at least one fairytale and she recounted," it's so depressing the girls just wait around for a prince..." I told her she's reading the wrong fairytales and bought her these books. She read them to her class and the kids loved them! She said even the boys loved them and had lots to say. They liked how it wasn't like the other fairytales where boys have to do everything and girls just wait for someone to save them; girls can do stuff too. Love kid reviews but it was a big hit among other wonderful female friendly books.

I have no idea how I again found this book. The anthem of my childhood. I refer back to Princess Smarty Pants just wanting to be left alone very often. The moral of the story? I’m not sure but I am sure it was beyond its time.

Someone gave me a copy once saying it was exactly like me. I hate to say, but it is .... and maybe that's not such a good thing when help would be great to have at times later. It is a cute story and I have purchased it for young princesses to enjoy.

Very sweet book. It encourages girls to go their own way and do their own thing. It's entertaining, the art is appealing and it has a great and important message.

If you have a sassy girl, this is the book for you. I buy it for all my friends with girls. It's a funny read about a strong, independent princess that I hope their girls grow up to be. Cute, cute pics too. It is similar to The Paperbag Princess by Robert Munsch. A good, fun story.
