My only concern is that the range and sensitivity of the sensor is not enough. It does not always alarm for some vehicles and is picky about direction of travel. Vehicles and people must be closer than the 20 to 30 feet advertised. Even with these limitations, this is a very good choice and does an acceptable job warning of intrusions.

I bought this driveway alarm with 4 sensors and I must say the motion sensor does work surprisingly well at almost 1/2 mile away. Like I said I have 4 sensors and get very few false alerts from birds or other small creatures. There are 2 things that would greatly improve this driveway alarm system for me though. #1- I would like it if the sounds from each channel were just simple tones, 1 bong for channel 1, 2 bongs for channel 2, 3 bongs for channel 3 and 4 for bongs channel 4, it would be far less confusing and a lot less annoying, otherwise you have to try to guess which sensor just went off. #2- The little rubber flap on the bottom of the sensors to weather proof the on/off switch and channel selector does really cheapen the unit and I do expect the flappers to fail in time but I imagine they are a replaceable part. Over all this is a great working system after one month of operation!

I had a set on my property from 2001, just lately had to replace them as I left batteries in my base unit too long and they leaked, totally my fault for the failure. Bought a new set, now with added cell phone notification. For some reason, the base failed on me, I am an expat dealing through an import/export company, so difficult to return products. I contacted Joise through customer service and she went the full mile and more for me. I bought a new unit and they graciously compted me the price with out asking for the failed unit. Cannot say enough about Joise. Buy these, They work great, are long lasting and you won't regret it.

We purchased these alarms to warn us of depredating hogs in the yard, rather than burglars.They work quite well allowing us to discourage/ dispatch a number of the villains.Rodents have eaten the lens cover out of one and am having trouble contacting the company for a replacement.The alarm tones are annoying but we are otherwise quite pleased with them.Recommend.

Very easy to set up. Fairly good detection and range but it seems to be a bit sensitive to extreme cold, issuing an annoying number of false alarms in the middle of the night. I don't like the way it issues alerts though. There are four different musical tones and four station lights. The lights don't stay lit for any reasonable length of time and as for the tones, you'll need to memorize which is mated to what sensor and likewise, they're only on for a brief period of time. There's no way to recall which sensor tripped the alert.
