Good for the price
Cover arrives on promised date, so this is a good service from vendor.I have a VTX 1300S 2005, everything is OEM + Tombstone windshield from National Cycle and passenger back rest.My Latest Dowco was ripping in pieces after almost 2 years under the sun and weather changes, so I need to get a new cover ASAP. The difference in price from Formosa vs. Dowco was around 35.00 so based on the good reviews I give a chance to Formosa.About the cover,Package comes with cover, carrying bag, lock and cable, also the cover itself have 2 short bungee ties attached to security holes and the product specs sheet. When installed It's a bit shorter than the Dowco Guardian weather all, XXL size from Dowco goes couple of inches lower allowing to close better underneath with straps, I had Dowco weather All and the weather all Plus in the past, quality of materials in Formosa heavy duty is something in between, not as light as the Weather All, not as heavy duty as the Weather All PLUS, just something in the middle. Also Dowco have protection liner for windshield, this one doesn't so if you are concern about the Windshield getting scratched on windy situations that is something to consider. As All covers, it shows is Water Proof but not water repellant, and even instructions warn that the inside will get wet, so I went to a marine shop and got water repellant and prep all cover from the very first use. I'll do recommend this to everyone regardless if the cover promise to be waterproof. The support holes in front wheel align with the center of the tire IF the tire is in straight line, buy my front tire only locks (like most motorcycles) with the tire pointing at 10:00 so holes don't work too well to use the bungee, the other at the center are just in front of my floor boards, with Dowco shouldn't be a problem because of the length of the cover, but with this, I need to get a longer bungee cord because as stated the provided mini bungee don't have any use and even with the longer bungee I can see the downside of my bike from the side. The lock is a nice addition to secure the cover on the bike but I don't think is intended to secure the bike itself, as the cable is too thin for this porpoise. All in all, the cover seems to be a good investment; this is my first Formosa and from here I hope it last at least the 2 years as my previous Dowco.Hope this review helps you.

Hiwaystar 500 XXL - Average quality paint it to protect from the sun will last 4+ years
Update: Feb 2021 the first cover wore out after about 5 years. I repurchased the same item but this time I painted it right away but I applied the paint too thick which has resulted in endless pealing paint chips. I realized the latex house paint must be thinned down and applied as a light fog just like overspray from a paint can then it will be too thin to peal and just enough to reduce the sun's UV rays from damaging the material.Update: 10-2019 it's been almost 4 years the cover is Getting Thinner from the Sun so I have to be extra careful taking it on and off but it's still working thanks to the protective latex paint I put over it LOL.Update: 02-21-2018 3 years of daily use.(see end photo) About 6 months ago I had to repair a few small rips on my sewing machine. The keys to making it last are care when installing and removing it to avoid a rip that can occur if it is pulled over a sharp corner. Latex Primer / Paint dramatically reduces sun damage but makes it harder for moisture to evaporate. Also, if it gets left on the ground and it rains I need to turn it inside out and put it on my scooter so the inside can dry out.Update: 01-02-2016 Still going strong even with the brutal sun of Southern California however... after about 6 months or less the black started to fade so this Sept I decided to paint my motorcycle cover with ordinary latex paint - mixed with primer using my Wagner Air Sprayer. I focused on the nylon stitched seams to protect the stitching from being weakened by the sun.About a week later I took a spray can and painted the back with Red to make it easy to install and I though why doesn't the company do this because it makes it much easier to install.Best cover I have ever owned in 20+ years of motorcycle riding. The material is really thick and of very high quality. Right now I'm using it to cover my 2005 Kymco Grandvista 250 scooter with an extra tall aftermarket windshield and the largest size top case (trunk) that Givi sells. Quality was way beyond my what I expected at any price.

It is about keeping your mortorcycle protected.
Personally, I like the cover, although is very light material. It has quickly deteriorated due to weather exposure. I have a much better one that is made to be used during transport, with all the ports, straps, and additional tie down points to assure safe protection without compromise. This item, Formosa, is popular with several bike owners. However, it must be understood that this a light and easily torn when exposed to any rough handling beyond stationary use.

Works well and completely Cover NC750X and Topbox
Just use it for the rain and it appears to be well-made with some ventilation.

almost perfect
I have 2019 Indian Chieftain with tour box, hard bags and extra tall windshield. It fits very well!Would like to see some soft fleece on inside where it touches painted surface and windshield. That is only reason its not a 5 star. Not something you would would take on a ride to cover your bike more for at home storage. A lighter half cover would be better for travel
