Set of 2 Pillow Protectors with Zipper Standard Size - 100% Resistant to Stains, Dust & Dirt - Washable Covers for Increased Pillow Lifespan

I bought a two-pack of these pillow covers through Amazon a few years ago and really liked them. They were advertised as 100% cotton, and I only wanted 100% cotton, When I received them, they were definitely a great 100% cotton... soft, but good, strong, high thread-count cotton material. They have also held up well through multiple washings. Finally, they were stained and worn out, and I needed to replace them.So, when I needed more pillow covers, I ordered these again, this time in a four-pack. It seemed impossible to determine prior to the new purchase whether or not they were still 100% cotton or were a polyester/cotton blend. There was conflicting information on various portions of the listing and photos, but I took the chance and ordered them.I am happy to say that, although they do not have any fabric information (tags,etc.) on them, the ones I received DO APPEAR to be the same 100% cotton covers that I bought previously. I really like them, but there was a problem.As soon as I received them I washed them before use. When I took them out of the dryer I found that two of the four had separated along the long side seam. On closer inspection, I found that it appeared that the seam was defective, having been sewn too close to the edge of the material, so that it frayed and came apart along the seam. The other two seemed to be just fine.Disappointed, I contacted the Seller via Amazon Message, explaining the situation and asking what we could do to resolve it, and received a very prompt (within about two hours) response. Of course, I knew that I could just return them through Amazon for refund or replacement, but it seemed like it would be a waste of expense for the Seller or Amazon to pay the return shipping for a defective product. The Seller was really GREAT about it, and offered to just send me out a new four-pack to replace what I had, and just keep the two good ones from the first package without the need to return them. Two days later, I had the replacements in hand and they were just fine.The bottom line is that, while we all know that even a great product can occasionally have a defective item or two, what really stands out in a case like that is how the merchant handles the problem. The Seller (and perhaps manufacturer?) Niagara Sleep Solutions definitely rated FIVE STARS FOR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THEIR EVENTUAL PRODUCT!!!

I bought a pair of memory foam pillows a year or so ago and they were always too firm. I finally decided to open them up and take a closer look. Luckily they had zippers on both the outer and inner liner so I removed nearly a full kitchen garbage bag of fill (I wish I were kidding) and they were still quite firm.What to do with the fill?? Make more pillows!! I bought these shells with a zipper in the end and used a good portion of that leftover fill to make my son a new pillow. With the leftover covers I'll freshen up some of the other ones or maybe make one more full pillow. The shell material is pretty soft. I haven't washed them yet but they're not crinkly or have any unusual smells so I'd call that a win.

The first time I purchased these they were cotton. The second time I purchased these I checked the ad, they were still listed ass being cotton. But when I washed them for the first time a couple of months later, they didn’t wash like cotton. They get pilly and the fabric is very stiff. Using these under a cotton pillow case, these make pillows scratchy. My skin has always been delicate and if I sleep on my stomach with my face on the pillow, my face is raw the next morning and my eyes are rubbed red by the pillow. I recently tried another brand of pillow protector that is cotton and found that I do not have the same results. No, I don’t like silk pillow cases. I prefer cotton. Good cotton sheets and linens are silky and cold when you get into bed, but they warm up quickly in cold weather, they let your skin breathe because they aren’t made of plastic like microfiber, and they are soft against the skin.I’m sorry to say that I’m donating these to the thrift store. Two are unused. The first set was good. The second I purchased isn’t a good fit for me.

Good pillow cover. Not exactly what I wanted. I'm looking for a pillow cover that has stuffing in it and then you put your pillow in that.

These are doing well so far since purchasing and washing a couple of times in cold water and hang to air dry, then iron with just under the cotton setting. These look and feel well made so I hope they last for some time.

Pillow covers are very well made. They fit perfectly after being washed and put in the dryer. The fabric is very smooth thereby eliminating any bunching under your pillow case. I highly recommend these pillow covers.

Good quality

These are perfect pillow covers! I have purchased several packages of these to protect my pillows from yellowing and then cover them with pillow cases from my sheet sets. They are perfect fabric and size with a zipper to keep them enclosed. I’ll update my review after some time to see how they hold up.

Great quality and great price.

They washed up nicely and kept their shape. No issues with them at all. I would buy them again if they hold up after a few months.

I did not want waterproof covers, just something for extra protection from sweat and stains in addition to the pillowcase for my new pillows, these are made of thick cotton and they fit perfectly on the pillows so I am very happy.

Really like these pillow protectors; a good value and the quality seems quite good. I have only laundered them once but I feel as though the construction of them is decent. I want to buy 4 more but I see they are now out...if they come back in to stock at the same price I will certainly get another package.
