These are the BEST, Most Comfy Hiking Shoes
I am SO, SO glad I purchased these hiking shoes when they were on sale a year + ago. I live in the Raleigh, NC area, where there are plenty of hiking trails and parks all around, and I wanted a sturdier shoe for when I hit more areas with tree roots, more granite outcroppings, etc. These have been my go-to outdoor shoes for a while now. I have very wide feet, but these fit like a glove. They have been comfortable since the day I bought them. They have excellent arch support, and I can walk around in a park for hours with no foot pain. The pic shown is after a year + of consistent wear.I am now a hardcore Merrell fan and will most likely continue looking for another MOAB version with higher ankle support and/or waterproof for when we go out to the mountains.

A great walking shoe for all kinds of weather
I have owned a pair of similar Merrill’s for something like 15 years. They have been my daily dog walking shoes in Colorado except for deep snow days. I decided to replace them to see if the new Merrill’s might have a little more cushioning. I have been so happy with the new ones. They’re comfy, cushy, gripping and stable. I walk them on wet days and light snow days and they are completely waterproof. I am so glad I bought a new pair. Highly recommend and the sizing is my usual size for a closed shoe.

Nice hiking shoe
I love the way these Merrell Moab 3 hiking shoe's look. Overall the fit is good. I have been wearing them around the house this last month to make sure that they were comfortable. My last hiking shoe was Columbia and these don't feel quite as comfortable as those but I have had those a long time. I like the look of these much better. The rise by the ball of the foot it higher and I wasn't used to that. But looks like a good quality hiking shoe and happy that I got them.

Such comfortable shoes, and great support to walk in!
I was amazed at the comfort of these shoes as soon as I put them in my foot and started walking in them. I would purchase them in other colors as well. This is my first pair of hiking shoes. I have very sensitive feet. I am a size 7 to 7 1/2 narrow. I bought the eights in the medium width. There was plenty of room for thicker socks if needed. The laces really make the shoes feel tighter or looser as needed. They were comfortable right from the beginning. I didn’t have to break them in. For as bulky as these shoes look, they are very lightweight to walk in. They are a little firm for the bottom of my feet, but because the souls are so incredible I don’t really notice it. I’ve gone on several walks with them, but not worn them for more than two hours at a time yet. I will definitely be buying these again in the future.

Supportive comfortable.
Very supportive more heavy duty hiking shoe. Great grip for coming down steep rocky / sandy terrain. Good arch support. Feels very stableI wear a 9.5 in normal shoes. I ordered a 10.5 in these and was worried since my big toe on both feet is up against front inner edge of shoe. Hiked 5 miles and no problem. I normally like the barefoot glove trail shoe but they slip steep areas. Very happy with these after my first 10 miles over weekend

100% comfortable
It’s my first time wearing hiking shoes, I love them, plenty of space in front of the shoes, I feel comfortable with them, I have been walking for two hours and I don’t feel any pain or discomfort

Great Merrell support/style/fit. Could use more cushioning in the footbed.
Really happy with the fit and balance in these Moab3's. I was hoping for a more cushioned footbed though. I'm a senior and just need more padding in my walking/hiking shoes. But I'll be keeping these and enjoy them as I've enjoyed previous Merrells. True to size and the arch support is in the right place for my small foot. Very stable for fast walks with my dog on the trail or street. They started out a bit stiff but have gotten more comfortable quickly as I wear them. I will be purchasing some very cushioned hiking socks to wear with these.
