Best Investment EVER
It's not my usual practice to leave a review on Amazon but after experiencing how AWESOME the Oransi OV200 truly is I HAD to write a review as a form of gratitude for such an effective product.*Warning* - This is going to be a long post but if you're on the fence about this product you'll be clear of your decision by the end. Thanks for reading! :)I wanted to order an air purifier because I am the cat mama of two awesome cats. One of my cats, named Chelsea, is 104 in human years (22 in cat years) and she is a long hair Himalayan. She's still kicking and sassy as ever but so overwhelmed by her own long hair that during her grooming sessions she would sneeze from her own dander. That's right, despite my veterinarian's insistence that she isn't, I cannot deny that my cat would have a full blown allergic reaction all day long. She would sneeze pretty much 7-10 times an hour, daily. Her eye would water, her ears get red hot and itchy, and she looks beyond miserable. On bad allergy days she would literally suffer from her own dander and/or outside dander and I could find her curled up in a corner of my bedroom waiting for the day to pass her by. Does cat Claritin exist?!?! The day I got the Onsari I ran it on high for the first 4 hours and decided to do a deep clean of my apartment to kick up all the dander for the air purifier to capture. Regardless of my intensive cleaning her sneezing drastically reduced to about one-two sneezes an hour. By the end of the day her eyes stopped watering, and her heavy breathing from all the mucus build up had completely subsided. I was impressed but the real test for me was when my boyfriend, who is allergic to cats despite his love for them, comes to visit and stay overnight. I had purchased the Oransi with him in mind not realizing Chelsea would benefit but I wasn't completely sure if her allergies has subsided because of the Oransi or my deep cleaning. The first time I had my boyfriend over he shared that while in the past he had owned a cat himself he was allergic to them. I was skeptical because I'm an obsessively clean cat lady when it comes to my cats and my living space. I've got that automatic Scoop Free Liter box to clean the liter even when I'm away at work and I dump the liter and wash the entire box once a week or once every two weeks if life gets busy. I've got my handy and powerful Dyson vacuum cleaner and vacuum daily. Hypoallergenic bed sheets are my go-to and my mattress is memory foam so not to hold dander. My cats are groomed weekly and bathed once every 3-6 months. Chelsea, goes to the groomer twice a year for a Lion's cut (Everything is shaved except the mane and tail and looks like a mini-lion when done). I've even got Claritin on hand, essential oils defusing, and every manner of pet hair removal product in the event that someone walks into my place and says they're allergic, I've got them. Friends and family that visit my place and claim "they're allergic" are in awe of how they have little to no reaction in my space. I've taken pride in having cats but none of the cat smell. However, none of this mattered for my boyfriend who was fine being in my place but after sleeping overnight he woke up congested, runny eyes, runny nose, and sneezing constantly. He was the picture of misery and had to leave my place immediately the next day. I was determined to find a solution because I love this man and I love my cats but not sure if the two can co-exist in the same room.I researched A LOT of different air purifiers but was blown away by the reviews on Amazon for the Oransi. It didn't hurt that it was rated as one of the top best air purifiers of 2019, either. AND the price was right considering I only had my bedroom to worry about filtering. The remainder of my apartment didn't create allergic reactions in my boyfriend but Chelsea was still having a miserable day to day experience. My vet was against allergy medicine for her due to her age. So an air purifier seemed like a potential solution. After seeing Chelsea's allergic reactions immediately subside I was SUPER curious to see if my boyfriend would have a similar experience. He arrived at my place and our plan was to have a day trip to an amusement park the following day. When we met that evening he told me he already took a Claritin before he took a Claritin an hour before his arrival. "Ok. Cool. but darn!" I wasn't sure if I would know if the Oransi had taken effect or not. The next morning we got rained out and decided to stay in and order a movie and some take out. I had the Oransi running at medium level the entire time. He still had no reaction but insisted it was the Claritin. "Whatever, the last time he stayed over he had to leave my place at 7AM because his allergies were so bad, but okay. #eyeroll" We settled into my bed, picked a movie, and ordered take out by the early afternoon. My boyfriend keep saying it was the Claritin working but I knew that the last time he wasn't even able to make it through the night without a serious allergic reaction. We started to watch the movie when the take-out arrived. I left to go get our food and upon my return I find Chelsea and my boyfriend, chilling in my bed my together! Chelsea is curled up next to him. He's petting her affectionately, and she's purring up a storm, neither of them are having an allergic reaction!! In that moment, I knew I the Oransi was worth every dang penny. There sat my cat, allergic to her own dander, and my allergic but animal loving boyfriend sitting in harmony together with out a single allergic reaction between them. He looked up and me and said, "Yes, the air purifier works."Buy it. You won't be disappointed but be sure to do your research and purchase the right size Onsari to fit the room you wish to filter.<3

Perfect solution for wildfire-related poor air quality/smoke
I am in Ojai, Ca and we have been dealing with fire and poor air quality for the past nine days. After evacuating, I had to return home for work three days ago and ordered this after reading reviews, read many reviews on different sites. It arrived last night and has been running the past 24 hours. It works well but is not for the whole house, note the space = room coverage 400 sq feet (I knew this when I purchased). I ran it all night in my room, and woke up to fresh air, and then opening my bedroom door this morning, got a good whiff of smoke smelling air in rest of house. Big difference between my room where it had been running vs. rest of house. Moved it to my dining room this morning and left it running all day while at work, just got home and that area smells great. I've now moved it to the living room, which is improved but still some remains of smoke scent. Tomorrow I will run it in bedrooms to clean all the air. I live alone so one is adequate, but if I had a family I would order two, and leave running in different areas of the house. For reference, my home is almost 1700 sq feet. In the past, for my seasonal asthma, I had a larger unit, and it was extremely bulky and I had to move it around and it was always in the way (donated it due to managing my condition so well). This one is about half the size and seems to have the same efficiency in terms of purifying air. My suggestion is: two are better than one for a family when you don't want to move the one unit around. I have asthma and actively manage it and have a HEPA filter in my home heating/AC system, and this definitely improves on that system. This unit is both HEPA and charcoal, the latter cleaning up smells. I know I will use it during allergy season and am confident it will be an improvement upon my central system then as well. Highly recommend.

Good quality
I was hesitant to buy this, just because there are so many options for purifiers, and I wasn’t sure about it being plastic because I’ve purchased one’s that smelled so bad of off-gassing plastic I had to return them. With this one, I took it out of the packaging and let it sit in the garage for a day. Then I brought it into the basement and turned it on. It smelled mildly of plastic for a few minutes, and then went away. After an hour in the basement, I brought it upstairs, and the air feels nice and fresh and no weird smells. It’s very quiet on the #1 mode. I bought this because we have an old house that tested positive for lead paint. The windows need to be replaced and there is some chipping paint. With this purifier, I feel a little better that my indoor air quality is being protected. FYI: with the reviews about the front panel, I’ve just made sure to handle it with care, and haven’t had a problem so far. I could see how if you man-handle it, it could break.

Beautiful results.
We bought this item to help with allergies. We have 4 dogs in a 22x16 ft cabin. When spring came. We ended up with 75 chickens in this small space too, because spring didnt actually hit..... we had winter 5 more times. Immediately, the chickens were moved out and we got this air purifier. Granted, our only issue is that the folter gets full every other day. But we're 100% offgrid, in a dusty and windy place, we expected this, but our ceiling dust was 50% less overnight.
