Yes the size description is probably correct in millimeters. The photo is extremely deceptive. This person must have Trump size hands. The size is MUCH smaller than shown and the depth of brilliance is also much less. Golf ball size

The color is not as deep as it appears in this picture
The color is not as deep as I had thought and the stand is very small about an inch or less in diameter and is about a 1/8 of an inch tall. I will say however stone isn't always consistent. I'm only mentioning it so there's no surprise for you if you order the "picture". It is pretty though....PS. the stand is exactly one inch and taller than I originally thought. The Stone is very pretty. I measured it after my review.

Not as nice as the one in the picture
Was not as dark as the one in the picture. Very light color.
