Fantastic reverb that's as simple or complex as you want it to be
I had the original TC Electronic Hall of Fame Reverb Pedal and it was a great pedal. This new version takes everything up a notch. Each of the reverb algorithms has been modified slightly to account for the new mash feature. I noticed this because each one has a bit more decay on them than the previous version. I also found that the Room setting has a touch of modulation in the signal that my old one didn't but it's pretty cool. The MASH function is really fun and the light changes brightness depending on how much pressure you're using (which is really great live). I was worried that it would be hokey and not really useful, but it's quite easy to use and vary up when playing live and the switch feels really sturdy. The new shimmer setting is really cool too. Not quite as angelic as the one in the Strymon pedals, but it's quite close and you can go in and tweak that sound in the Toneprint editor to put it exactly where you want it.Probably the coolest part of this pedal is the combination of three Toneprint slots and the editor. Each of the three control knobs can be set to control 3 different parameters in whatever way you like (in the original you could only change the Decay and Tone knobs). The editor allows you to tweak multiple parameters within the shimmer, reverb, modulation, and dry signal to make a totally custom sound (or tweak something from one of the regular algorithms). You can even map out how you want the MASH function to work (for three different controls) depending on the pressure you use.If you love tweaking your sound then this is a dream and I highly recommend it. If you just want a simple reverb, this is still for you since you don't have to go in depth

Great Reverb Pedal!
As expected from TC Electronic, this pedal is so full of usefull reverb effects, all good quality reverb effects which I find even better than my old Boss reverb pedal, The tone print feature is just awesome, you can choose upto 3 premade effects from their library, this pedal only has 3 storage slots for downloadable effects, but it is adequate, for the purpose of this pedal, my only gripe about this pedal is that NO STICKER was included in the package, i know its silly but im a big sticker fan and I collect them, So TC Elecronic where is my sticker? LOL.

I’m only copying Dave
Bob here again… A guitar player I like uses this and I’m super impressed with it. Lots of useful verbs and some stuff to grow into as well. I put this with a Marshall that had weak reverb and this really sparked it up. Really like the stereo output. I will be using that. Cool little pedal. Very quiet.

Superbly Versatile
I don't usually click all 5s but the name is apt. Having bothered to design and build all tube, dual tank spring reverb rack rigs my expectations were cautious. Does the "Spring" setting nail it? Not quite but it's close enough and the other presets are all very usable and add value. Then add the downloadable prints (I liked Robben Ford's a lot) and the pressure sensitive switch function may be, for me, less than important live , but for recording it's great! I love this pedal AND it works in front of an Instrument input OR in strong FX Loops.

Need a little reverb?
In my old rack rig, the reverb was provided by a Lexicon unit. Signal wise, it was after the preamp, before the power amp; or, if using a head, in the effects loop. When I scaled my rig down, way, way down to just pedals (even my preamp is pedal-size), I looked for a reverb pedal that could get the same quality sound as the rack unit. Then I remembered hearing a the original Hall of Fame demoed at the NAMM convention. I remember being impressed. So I decided to get the Hall of Fame 2. I'm not disappointed. Tons of usable sounds out of the box (even more via TonePrint) and simple operation with just four knobs. With the TonePrint app, you can get preset settings designed by others, some by artists. If you're into it, you can also tweak as much parameters as you want in the TonePrint app. Sure, you can't tweak knobs in real time but at less than half the price and less than half the footprint of other more 'fancy' pedals, I'll stick with the Hall of Fame 2.

Great, versatile, reverb pedal
I bought this largely for the shimmer effect. Otherwise, I would have bought a used original HoF or some other less expensive reverb pedal. The shimmer setting is great, but I honestly don't use it that often. You really have to be playing something slow and ambient -- otherwise, it just steps all over what you are playing. I mostly use the Hall and Spring reverbs. The expression pedal feature is and add-on I don't need but, considering I would probably never buy a dedicated expression pedal, it's nice to have.Overall, a great pedal. I could have gotten by with something less expensive, but I am very happy with this HoF2.

Works wonderfully, EATS batteries
I haven't had to feed peddles batteries for years, I have Voodoo Labs PedalPower bricks to do that. I got this pedal to be the ONLY pedal for a Fender 57 Custom Champ, and it ate the battery in a couple of hours. The pedal sounds fantastic and I like the upgrades from HOF1,so it does just what you'd want it to do.Only 2 things I can think of are:1. Sorry for anyone using batteries with it, it's going to eat them.2. This product got about 50 bucks too expensive!
