PERFECT for my wedding dress! You won’t regret this purchase!
I wish I could give this shapewear 10 STARS! After numerous attempts/try-ons to find the best shapewear for my wedding day, these were PERFECT. My wedding dress is a tightly-fitted, fit & flair made of complete crepe material (which we all know can be not-so-forgiving!) This shapewear not only smoothed everything out, but due to the capri length/below the knee, didn’t show any lines like most other above the knee shapewear/Spanx. The tight-like material was light and not too constricting; I LOVED how thin the material was, yet how much compression they provided to feel “snatched” yet still able to breathe and move freely! They were completely high waisted (right below breast area) and didn’t roll down at ALL. I danced and moved all night long during my Florida wedding with no issue. All in all, you won’t regret this purchase!!!

Not what they used to be but I still buy them
Great hold in power in upper area of stomach and thighs. The lower thinner area is so flimsy I put my finger thru the hosiery putting them on the first day.I have tried other brands and not found anything like Spanx for comfort and slimming.

I love these spanx
Best spanx in the world, squeezed me and didn’t roll down. Made me feel confident in the dress I wore and felt comfortable with he entire night. I got a large but I think a medium would have been fine, lots of stretch

Terrible quality
Absolutely terrible. The hose are pointless and will rip as soon as you put them on. It rolls awful. I'm 5ft 10 and size large. It wasn't tight enough either.

It does the job, but definitely single use
After reading the reviews I knew what I was getting. I got this to wear with my white wedding outfit but I knew other buyers had problems with it ripping, so I didn’t even try it on before the day (I had a backup plan). Here is my experience:Pros:- it does the job well, offer decent compression and shaping without rolling down at all. I was pretty impressed by how well it held over my ribs, while most other options I tried rolled right down.- it’s quite comfortable for what it is. I didn’t feel like it was hard to breathe or anything.- fit was true to size. Just a little bit tight and hard to put in but that’s kinda the the point- it did not show at all. No seams visible on the side or anything. Looked great.Cons:- it ripped off when I first put it on. Huge rips from top to bottom, in both the front and back. And it wasn’t even in the stocking part as I expected, but actually in the top, shape-wear area. As you can see in the photos, the lines marked in red are not the seams, but rather two huge tears that I got by just putting them on. I was extremely careful with my nails but just by stretching it I immediately heard the rip. Bear in mind it was not super tight, I wasn’t looking for a lot of tummy control or anything but just wanted to not have pantie lines.Bottom line, I don’t regret getting them as I only needed it for one special occasion. However, given that it’s something that is meant to hold some compression and considering the price, I do believe it should not rip by simply putting it on.

Fit
Almost impossible to get on the first time; don’t give up! After a few minutes they feel WONDERFUL!

Impressed, to say the least
(For reference, I am 5'8", 125ish pounds, 29" waist, 38" full hip. I ordered size B)I've always been on the thin side and never thought I'd need or use spanx. I made my own wedding dress, and wanted to avoid adding a bunch of extra layers to cover up my panty line, because I refuse to wear a thong, which probably would've been visible anyways. Biker shorts would've been visible as well. After much research and struggling to find the right size, I landed on these capri-length spanx. When they came in the mail, I thought it was some kind of joke because they looked like they were made for a toddler. It was very difficult to put them on, but after some wrestling - they were ON. They never slipped or needed to be adjusted, and weren't too difficult to pull down to use the restroom (they do have the little fly but I was not about to try that!) I had long stiletto nails on too and they didn't rip or snag.Just the little "extra" I needed to feel confident on my wedding day.
