I have 2 main uses for the Hypafix
I have 2 main use for the 2-inch wide Hypafix retension tape:* Because I am allergic to the adhesive of many modern tapes and bandages, Hypafix is one of my 2 favorite tapes* Nupro pstches won't stick to my skin. Therefore, I use a strip of this tape to secure the patches* This multi pack is a great savingsI use the 4-inch wide Hypafix for retention binding of my knees, feet and ankles because I have wrestless leg syndrome.I'm just being honest for your benefit.I gave the tape 4 stars only because there are some times when the tape lifts along the edges. Also, when you have to use it as often as I do (nearly every day) for about 8 hours, the removal of the dry tape from my knees, ankles and feet each day begins lifting skin cells. What I forgot to do is wet the tape with rubbing alcohol first for easy, comfortable removal. What I was taught, in physical therapy, is to apply Hypafix first, then put sports tape ove the Hypafix.I've never needed to look for another brand that serves the same purpose as Hypafix. I'm very happy with Hypafix and have been using it since around 2010.This seller's price is excellent.

Not sure on this one
I use Hypafix A LOT. Like a couple boxes a month easily. My big issue is that while I usually don’t have any problems with it is that my last order the hupafix seems to be having issues sticking to the skin and especially sticking to itself. I’m having to reenforce the tape where it’s no longer sticking to other pieces of hypafix with another product like Tegaderm. I’m just hoping that the next order I get works properly otherwise I’m going to have to be finding something else. (I hope not as I genuinely like using this product)

Great for sensitive skin
This tape is excellent. I have such sensitive skin that even when I go for a blood test the bandaid rips of a layer of skin. When I remove a bandage the results are worse then the actual reason for having the bandage on. This tape is a game changer. When I remove it NO redness or irritation. And it stays on till I take it off. I will travel with this at all times so no one uses a tape that will tear off a layer of my skin. I also wear a Dexcom sensor and external insulin pump. Sometimes they start to come off before they expire so I just put this tape over the unit and it holds it in place. When you are already hurting so much it is great to have a tape that will not make matters worse.

This tape is great if you have delicate skin.
This tape doesn’t tear my skin when I change a dressing. I have delicate “elderly” skin. This tape holds dressings securely, if it doesn’t, try wiping your skin gently with an alcohol wipe, let it dry, then apply tape. It hasn’t caused any skin irritation. I’ve used multiple rolls and wouldn’t consider being without it.

sensitivity
Even though it does well for sensitive skin, repeated use over the same area can eventually begin to irritate the skin. best on areas where dressing does not have to be changed daily. Or possibly apply base layer which does not get peeled off as often and apply additional dressings to that base layer.

This is what my dermatologist uses so that's what I use!
Love this. I've also tried the sensitive skin option. The latter is a little difficult to work with, but I do like it.

Tape,that works and stays on!
This is the best tape to use for bandaging wounds or deeper cuts! Flexible and easy to apply. This is what the hospital, wound therapist uses .Great value from Amazon compared to my store farther away from me, this was so convenient and much less expensive, saving is always good! lol

I put this to the test on my wrist.
I liked that I forgot it was there. Water did not affect it. It is porous and breaths. I tested it for stickiness. I removed it and stuck it down several times It did not leave residue. It is made in Germany. I think the Germans have always had intuition. Really, I bought this to tape puppy ears. I will try it. It has so far met my expectations. The vendor was great. Fast deliver no delays.
