Anyone not have the fixer stone arrive flat?

I know the nagura for removing metal impurity. isn't it already happening while i flatten the stone? why i need nagura ? thanks

Do you know what is the Grit of this stone fixer?

Would this be a good set to use on a 1000 grit King whetstone? Thanks!
