The white cast comes from it being physical sunscreen, not chemical. The white cast is very tolerable for a physical sunscreen and moisturizing for a physical sunscreen. I chose this over a chemical one because my eyes hurt with chemical ones ever since getting Lasic surgery. Also good for kids. White cast goes away in a little bit later. Another good thing is that it is more immediate than chemical sunscreens. I do not want to wait 30 minutes after applying sunscreens. Physical vs. chemical, your choice but I prefer physical sunscreen when not wearing makeups.

Octinoxate gives me horrible facial hives so I was looking for a good mineral based sunscreen. I love love this Torriden sun cream. I love that it's ZnO based, isopropanol free, non-nano, not-greasy, fragrance free, blends well with just a hint of white cast, octinoxate free, SPF 50, and goes on very light. I use it as everyday sunscreen and haven't been burned yet.Furthermore, you can order directly from the Torriden Store on Amazon without fear of getting a fake!Cons: it's a little pricey and the tube is small, but on the plus side, the smaller tube means you can carry it on when flying. Minus 1 star because the percentage of ZnO isn't listed anywhere and I didn't see a link to testing by independent labs.**UPDATE** Torriden is running a 50% off deal in Feb. 2024. I just bought 4 more to stock up.

I have dry, sensitive skin prone to break outs and burning but this physical sunscreen really works amazingly with my skin type. I also use it as a primer before my foundation/cushion and it layers so beautifully without any residue coming up throughout the day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for people with sensitive skin looking for a physical sunscreen.*due to its make-up, it does leave a slight white layer but it absorbs well into the skin and under your makeup

Since I am pregnant, I found the mineral sunscreen which has clean ingredients and softly putted one on the skin. It was perfect.I will buy more when I use it all.

Super greasy and white cast

The media could not be loaded. This sunscreen has a light blue cast right out of the bottle. It does require quite a bit of effort to get the product into the skin enough to reduce the white cast. There is a bit of a white cast that remains but it's not bad for a mineral sunscreen. After it dries, it has a bit of a powdery finish.
