I was looking for a shampoo that would be super moisturizing for the winter.I hadn't ever heard of this brand or Olive oil shampoo before so I thought I'd try it and see if it made a difference.Since the label refers to wearing "natural/relaxed" hair, I'm assuming it's formulated for African American hair but I'm no hairstylist so I don't really know about the difference in formulations.I am Native American with long, thick hair and I was a little worried that it would leave my hair feeling heavy but it didn't. I didn't even have to use a seperate conditioner.It actually left my hair feeling like I had done a deep conditioning treatment.My hair is SUPER soft, shiny and tangle-free after using it. But it is too intensely moisturizing to use every day on my hair type.I found that using a scalp treatment and this product on the rest of my hair once a week is perfect for me (with regular shampoo in between).Overall, It's a great product.
