Good for what it is.
This is a fairly weak stream. More for show than sound.

Moves a lot of water for such a tiny pump.
I use this little pump to move clean water out of 5 gallon buckets. The 4 suction cup feet hold the pump in place. It is a 3-4 minute operation to pump the 5 gallons into a roughly level container. This is perfect for moving clean water from container to container on level ground, not for dirty water or pumping water high into the air.I wouldn't use this in filthy water, because the inlet is unfiltered and would likely lead to clogs. ~2.5ft is the maximum lift my pump can manage in tests. At 2ft, the spray is similar to an old-school drinking fountain.

Good for DIY or replacement cat fountain pump
Fairly silent motor, I hardly ever notice it. I bought it because my old cat fountain's motor stopped working and needed a replacement, but the OEM replacement pump cost was more than half the cost of just buying a new fountain. So I modified the fountain to make this pump fit.
