JINHEZO USB 3.0 Vertical Male to Female Adapter Left Angle and Right Angle Adapter

I am kind of in the wishing that I shelled out a bit more and went a different route. These work for what I wanted, partially...Not sure if I got a defective product, or maybe my USB ports on my laptop are loose; however, these go on VERY tightly making it sometimes impossible to get out without wiggling. They seem to not like being messed with at all... a little bump can lose connectivity to your device.Again, I will state that it may be that my USB ports are a little loose, but everything I had connected to them prior NEVER lost its connection. My only dual USB ports are on the right side of my laptop, where my mouse also resides. So, having two USB cords that were straight meant the cords would have to stick out two inches or so with cord and plug.This was annoying to bump into when gaming... now, it's annoying when I am playing a game and the hard drive disconnects to reconnect sending me out of screen to Auto Play prompts. (I have recently turned off all AutoPlay options through Windows 7) I was going to the route of getting a USB hub, but since I really only needed the 3 ports that I have... I felt this was a good option.I know that some may think that having a USB plug in that is tight would make it secure; however, if using a laptop, it's rather hard to fix a connection that has become loosened from constantly having to wiggle to connect or disconnect.This product works as stated and I may have gotten a faulty one, but either way... might try finding a right/left angle USB extension cord or consider a USB hub, prior to settling on a cheaper option.

I purchased this item in January of 2015 with the intent of using it only as an adapter to change the angle of the cord coming out of my car charging port. I'm sure it will work for that intent, but my rating is based on the overall product that I received. This did in fact come with 1x left hand and 1x right hand adapters.Performance:I have confirmed that this adapter does run at USB3.0 speeds. I was getting ~70MB/s write speeds which was bottle necked by my other hardware.Color:Looking at the picture, the product was shown as black. The product I received, however, was blue in color (similar to the internal plastics of USB3.0. Again, not a big deal, but not what I was expecting. The two pieces were slightly different in color, one darker than the other.Quality:The ports fit tightly into other sockets. The plastic coating is thick and sturdy feeling, but seems to mark easily. Biggest concern is that one of the pieces I received has multiple rust spots on the metal USB socket (NOT the connections inside). I'd assume this is just an unlucky occurrence and hopefully will not happen to many others.

I review things after I've had the product for some time. I encourage others to do the same. I believe It's more fair to the buyer.I use a laptop fan all the time to keep the laptop cool. The cable that is connected to the fan below is using a USB. But the first cable died from the stress that a typical cable sees when sticking strait out from the computer. These little adapters seem durable and very functional for my needs. I have had this connected to my laptop longer than my original configuration and have been happy with the compact and durable function it offers. I only with they had them ambidextrous so that I could choose which direction to plug them in.

I have to have a usb security device plugged into my work laptop 99% of the time and I hated how it would stick out. This turns the device to fit nicely against the side and prevents me from snagging it on things and ruining my usb port.I worried a bit that this would just change a levering stress on the port to a twisting stress but I help support it with a command strip between the adapter and my laptop. And this still lets me remove my security device the 1% of the time I need to plug something else in.Going on 4 years and two different laptops with the same adapter: no problems at all!

Yes you can buy the exact same adapter as a single unit, but it is often difficult to tell if you are buying the correct angle. Many people neglect to determine if they need the angle to bend to the Right or to the, often never mentioned, LEFT. Due to the nearly identical appearance of USB connections, picking the right (sorry) the correct USB plug/socket is hard to do unless you are an expert at USB.Do what you want, but for the price of one at other dealers, you can get BOTH the RIGHT AND LEFT adapters.I've tried a couple of different brands of flexable angle adapters and just let me say -- SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY THEM!I hope this helps anyone you might actually read this :-)Charles Roaten

Items come from China so shipping took a couple of weeks.They work great and come in handy for a sleeker connection when appropriate. They could possibly cover up other connections on the side of a laptop, so plan ahead a bit. It's nice to have the pair of opposite connectors for greater flexibility.I am using one of them with my AV Receiver that has a USB port on the front of the unit but not on the back. I've got a portable USB hard drive semi permanently connected to the receiver for accessing my music library, and using this adapter makes for a much cleaner appearance, otherwise the USB cable would be sticking straight out from the face of the receiver and not look as clean.Fair price, the pair gives you flexibility, they work great.

These Left & Right Angle Adapters will protect the USB ports of our laptops from dust (during times when nothing is plugged in) and also from permanent banging damage (during times when something is plugged in). People who damage all 3 USB ports on their laptops will need to buy a new laptop. Most dangerous are the antennas required for wireless mobile internet service, which when banged, will permanently disable the USB port that they were plugged into. *Update*Trotz wiederholter Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Verkäufer wurde der fehlende zweite Adapter nicht nachgeliefert.Nachrichten werden gar nicht beantwortet.*Erste Rezension*Leider wurde nur ein Stecker geliefert, obwohl die Beschreibung von "Winkel links und rechts" also zwei Stück spricht. Ein wiederholter Kontakt zum Verkäufer brachte leider keine Lösung. Somit ist die Lieferung nach wie vor unvollständig und entspricht nicht der Bestellung. Der eine gelieferte Winkel funktioniert bisher aber wie erwartet.

Works fine. I was supposed to get 2 left and 2 right units but I only received two right.
