I broke my back on 12th July after a heavy fall, had emergency spinal fixation and was left unable to bend and dealing with severe pain. This has been hugely challenging, physically and emotionally.This grabber was the best £8.99 I spent in my life.It's very lightweight, but feels sturdy and robust. It's very easy and comfortable to use, and can reliably pick up things as small as a cotton bud or a button, but is also strong enough to lift a sneaker, or a full handbag. The prongs are the perfect size and the rubber ends grip securely. Slightly risky, but I've even had enough confidence in it to remove full size dinner plates and mugs from the dishwasher!! Putting shoes and socks on is difficult, and I've used it to put on and pull up my socks!! It confers dexterity as well as strength - I can position the prongs of a plug in the socket and nudge the plug into place with my foot.I take it with me wherever I go, at the moment.You don't realise how often in a day you drop things until you are no longer able to pick them up. This item has made a huge difference to my morale and recovery, saving me from frustration and helping to restore independence. I love it! Arthritis and grip problems means I drop lots of things and can't bend down to pick them up. This grabber is so well made, with no sharp edges, it feels solid but is light and it also folds up easily. Because both " jaws" of the grabber move, you can pick up quite tiny things. I love it so much I've been around the house dropping things on purpose to pick them up!😂. One tiny cat biscuit for example and a small pencil.I've not got a lot to smile about because of severe mobility issues but this new tool ( toy?) is just brilliant, and it's a great price too.I wish I'd bought one before. 100%...don't hesitate.

I purchased thus to help mum who is struggling to bend and reach. It has a nice soft grip that doesn't need a heavy-hand pull, which helps with arthritic fingers also.Nice that it comes in different lengths and colours. I would recommend.

These are a godsend after an operation where you’re not allowed to bend! This one can fold in half and you can also change the orientation of the gripper to suit what is comfortable for you. Seems sturdy and nimble and can pick up anything from the dogs toys to a poly bag!

Bought this like 2 years ago. I still have it, still use it and its still so handy. I use it in the house to get the things I can't reach. It slightly broke on the casing but it still works perfectly, would highly recommend it for anyone that can't reach the floor. I can pick up the tiniest object on the floor like crumbs or a bit of paper or heavier things like clothes.

The grabber element seems good and well made but the shoe horn plastic is too brittle and weak and broke on 2nd use

I used it to clear out some guttering. Lovely and long and gripped the debris nicely. Even took quite a lot of weight. Wide enough grip to grab pieces of mortar and tile. Brilliant.

Delivery was postponed twice. Like several other Amazon purchases.The grabber has very large jaws allowing it to pick larger objects than most other grabbers. It's foldable for storage and well built.

Cette pince est parfaite pour attraper quelque chose dans un endroit inaccessible (un objet qui tombe derrière la machine à laver par exemple), pour attraper quelque chose qui est loin, ou tout simplement pour attraper quelque chose sans devoir se baisser si douleurs, maladies, handicap. Facile d'utilisation. Elle est donc très utile !
