I’ve used them in a few European countries now (including Spain and France), and they’ve worked flawlessly every time. I brought this to use in Brazil. It works fine for older properties, which use a socket with pin widths the same as type C, and where the socket may be flush with the wall. But for the more modern properties, although I think the pin width might be OK, the plug will not be able to go into the socket due to the shape of the plastic part - which is a hexagonal recess, and the cirular plastic part of this plug adapter will not fit in. So an additional adapter is needed, not easy to describe or find and I was directed to a physical shop in Brazil. I've attached a photo to show the hexagonal shape - this is not the product you are viewing in Amazon, but I needed the pipestation adapter to get the type C pins to plug into this adapter. Note that doing this, your appliance will not be earthed. Also note that although most areas use 220V, if you are in region using 110V, then your appliance will be underpowered.
