TMI for those who get grossed out by skin issues. I get small cysts in certain areas often, and unless I lance and pop them they stick around forever. I've tried extractor tools with lancets on the ends but ended up very disappointed in how dull they were so up until recently I would only use a sewing needle. It worked okay but was painful and recently I ended up losing it somewhere so I decided to try an extractor tool once more. I wasn't expecting much when I received this one, but I tried it on a cyst and I was instantly impressed. I hardly had to use any pressure and felt no pain when it punctured the cyst and I was able to pop it easily after. I probably won't use the other end of the extractor as I only wanted a really sharp lancet.

Pros: Well made, durable & sturdy. The tip end is very sharp & does its job well so exercise caution when using it.Cons: My only criticism would be the ineffective rubber tip safety cap that is uselessly small. It can be pierced easily & you can stab your fingers if you're not careful while handling the instrument. These instruments should definitely be kept away from children at all costs for obvious safety reasons.

Since adolescence I haven't had a serious complexion issue, but occasionally still get a blackhead on my face or a whitehead near my eyes. The whiteheads in particular will last FOREVER unless you do something about them. For 40 years I've been using the two-finger technique; to aid whitehead removal I've been lancing them with a sterilized needle first. But I recently developed a pair of blackheads on adjacent pores on the side of my nose, where it meets the upper lip (if you know what I mean). They were getting bigger and resisted all of my best efforts using the "finger pinch" method.So I ordered this thing. The cup end did a great job and they both came out almost effortlessly, despite the fact that I ignored the instructions and did not use moist heat to help open up the pores.Whiteheads? Not so excited about that one. I have a couple of small ones and decided to try out the flat loop end on them. They didn't come out with any reasonable amount of pressure. So I suspect I'll still have to lance those.It's kinda gross to talk about this kind of skin care, or even to admit that you need it. That's probably why there aren't many reviews. But I have to say this item was worth the 11 bucks. Buy $14 of something else to get free shipping.

When I bought this, the pictures were different. There were multiple detachable heads pictured. But when it came, it is as pictured right now. A stick with 2 undetectable heads. The package it came with also included a brochure of the one with detachable heads. I was looking at every part of the package for those but came to find this.Anyway, this thing works okay. The ring head is a little bigger than what I need, and is too deep and wide overall which affects its usage. The loop is also good, but again, a little too thick or deep. But it seems very durable.

Proceed with caution when using the poker side, it is SHARP! But comes with a handy rubber tip cover as well as an extra one. It works beautifully. Well made product. Prepare yourself for hours in front of the bathroom mirror finding every blemish you didn't know you had!

I am very pleased with my purchase! This extractor is so much better in comparison to others that I've tried! I've purchased at least ten different types/brands and I have to say, I feel this will be the last one I buy! It's truly the best one yet, it is very sturdy it doesn't bend at all! The angle is perfect. Sometimes the loops can be very painful..thats not the case with this one, No matter how hard I press it's not at all painful! I would definitely recommend this extractor to anyone that has an issue with acne, or like myself someone who likes popping pimples on others! do not buy if you dont have major issues with whiteheads or black heads because it will mess your your pores and make them larger. It did that to me, and now I am trying to find ways to get my pores to shrink back. I didnt really need this product in the first place, but I thought this would be better than the nose strips. I was wrong.

i got this actually just for the lancet because i don't like this kind of comedone extractor, i'd prefer the wire loop type.for the lancet, it's great. it's very sharp and finely made. it has a right angle bend intended for easier use, but it makes using the lancet harder because it's hard to angle my hand to aim the lanset at my blackheads.i also tried to use the remover just to try it out. it is way to thick and makes it a little hard to use.overall, the product is well made in terms of materials. it also comes with a little holder that is pretty classy. its holding part has good traction to hold too. but it is just too bulky to for me to use it effectively and to aim accurately on my face because of its weight. it'd be nice if it's a little lighter.
