The most detailed TWS
I was interested in buying a Yamaha earphone since long. Came across this TWS in Amazon and read a few online reviews in all of which it’s sound quality was highly praised.Took the plunge and got it for around 6800.00.Featurewise its totally unattractive. No ANC at this price, pretty ordinary looking, no touch controls, very ordinarily finished buds and case. But then once its paired and put in the ears, it’s heavenly sounding. The most wonderful aspect is - it sounds very very detailed with clear and crisp treble and never sounds harsh. In fact many Bollywood songs, which sounded too harsh with my other TWS buds (I had to eq by reducing treble) sounded much smoother on this without any eq. The bass is flat (not at all for bassheads), mids appear a bit recessed to me but very clear and detailed. The soundstage is normal, not too wide but perfect with instruments perfectly positioned in space. The USP of this TWS is - it sounds very clear at a very low volume unlike others where with reduction in volume the treble and bass weakens. This TWS will not play super loud and Yamaha has incorporated a “Listening Care” feature in its app which optimises the sound with volume. This is an excellent TWS at this price if one doesn’t require ANC and other features and natural sound is the only criteria. I have played with both iPhone 12 mini and LG G8x and no problems faced.Highly recommended. Some other cons are :1. After first pairing, the second and subsequent pairings are cumbersome and peculiar. One has to strictly follow the manual.2. The buttons are responsive to press but needs a little practice after coming from “Touch controlled” TWS.3. The L and R buds are marked and both goes in the case in any orientation. So while putting back the buds in the case, one has to carefully put the buds at the appropriate placeholders assigned.Lastly, an exceptionally good sounding earphone at the price.

Excellent clarity and detail
I was contemplating between these and other Sennheiser ones because I had used Sennheiser previously and loved the sound clarity they produced. After watching reviews Paul's POV, I purchased these. My experience has been excellent so far. These produce superb sound detail, I've been hearing music notes that I had never heard before on my previous headphones. Yamaha's dedication to clear sound really shows in these too even though they're theri entry level product. It doesn't have the most features yes but that's not what I bought them for. Sound and music matters a lot to me. Battery life has been excellent, no complaint there.Really happy with the purchase.

Only for Music not for Calling
Very poor microphone.. it doesn't help to attend calls. Voice is very low. Even cheap 30 rs headsets will do a better job than these.. only best thing is music.. not so good for this price range but ok the quality is good.

The seller may be careful enough.
Made in 2022, two years old. One side of the box found opened. Failed to connect with my ROG3. Earbud cover found short in pouch. Charging cable found untied. It appears someone used and returned it which has been redirected to a prime customer. We may be responsible enough to care for others. Not a happy experience while dealing with a top brand. Requested for return. Thank you

Not worth the brand name and price
Not worth the price at all. 90% of the time it seems like I'm using something of poor quality because i can only listen from one of the earbuds (usually right). Connecting both of them together is a task. There is no noise cancellation. Even after putting the volume on full, i can't hear properly and the sound is faint most of the times.Even after you remove them from your ears and put them back in the case, the Bluetooth stays connected on your phone and if you manually disconnect it then you have to struggle with pairing both of them together and you're back to square one where you can only listen from one of them.Very disappointed for a brand like Yamaha and at this price point to get such a product.

Left earbud charging issue
Sound is good, clear and crisp detailings. Although the bass and low mid response is not very strong. But the most irritating issues are:1- Left earbud always charges lesser than the right one. I raised a replacement of the product and then the new product has the same issue too. You might often find that the right earbud is at 80% charge while the left one is at 10%. It seems that this is an issue in all of their products. It is probably a bug Yamaha would solve in their future products.2- Has got a master slave configuration. Both the earbuds can connect separately with your phone. But only one will play if you have both of them them paired. You need to pair only the right one. It will act as the master and the left one will connect with the right one as the slave. You can't use just the left one. You'll always have to bring the right one out of the case.3- Very inconvenient to wear. Twice they fell off my ears.Sound quality is good but I won't recommend anybody to buy these. Just good sound quality cannot nullify all these weird issues.
