Can be cooked easily by immersing bag in hot water, or remove from pouch and cook in microwave bowl.
These have been very useful as a key worker supporting the food industry, and with nearly everywhere shut, even the canteen in the factory is restricted, and we have to bring in own food. In my hotel I have cooked these by immersing in the hot water in a kettle, and it heats very quickly to an acceptable temperature. In the factory, I remove from the foil pouch and put in a suitable microwave bowl with lid and it microwaves in a couple of minutes. I purchased 24 pouches of these and keep in the boot of my Jag, together with cooking stove and mess tins in case I have to stop off or stuck anywhere etc. (on my journey at 4am I even stopped and ate one of these cold staight out of the pouch for breakfast) I think given the current situation, and showing how invaluable these ready to go meals are, even after the crisis I will carry a small supply with me wherever I go.

Good for purpose but not so delicious.
Bought for my son's DofE.These are his comments: they all taste the same except the chilli concarne (which was his favourite). They took too long to heat up (15 minutes and still cold in the middle) maybe his heating up skills aren't so great? They are filling though and easy to carry so they're good for the intended purpose.I bought 4 different meals for him but his next outing he wants pot noodles (under my protest) but he's 14yrs and knows best!

A good staple meal
Good number of meatballs in proportion to the rest. The packet's picture accurately depicts the meal, complete with blur! Fine for me; hubby thought the portion a bit small.I suggest adding black pepper, and add (can buy from a food store or garage shop) cooked veggies or a salad e.g. M&S one-person veg portions. I suggest Wayfayrer consider adding a few veg.Wayfayrer meals are generally good and easy to store, carry and prepare. Don't forget to consider them if, like me, you do house clearance or moving, when you've packed most of your crockery and cooking things, and are effectively camping in a house, especially if the takeaways have closed or are too far away. This tastes fine, and it's a good staple - I'd carry one even though I prefer the Wayfayrer curry meals as they have tangier flavourings. It might be because I was testing it in the comfort of (an empty) house (microwaves well for 4 mins at medium-high in a microwaveable bowl), as I'm sure if I was in the wilds in the cold and rain it'd taste a lot more comforting.

Meatylicous
Been a fan of Wayfayrer foods for a longtime. Easy to cook and taste great.I use them on multi day treks and there’s nothing better than an easy to cook warm meal at the end of a long days trek in the mountains.Just cook in the bag in hot water on your camping stove for 5 mins. You can even use the water for a brew once meal is cooked.Essential part of my kit when multi day camping in the mountains.

Tasty and quick to prepare
Very tasty meal and easy to prep literally just drop the unopened bag in to boiling water for a few mins ready much faster than a dehydrated meal. The only diwn side is the weight at around 300g you can get a simalar amount of calories from a dehydrated meal for far less weight. Still my first choice however as they are so easy and tast good to.

Very Good Emergency/Camping Food
Very good quality emergency or camping food. There were at least two years up to the use by dates. Obviously, they will not be quite as good as home cooking but for long life food, they really are excellent.

Very tasty
Wayfarer meals are about the best on the market. The meatballs and pasta followed by chocolate pudding is by far my favourite meal anytime not just camping. A little heavier than dehydrated meals and they use more fuel as you have to boil the water longer but a lot tastier
