If you have a high quality fabric or leather on your recliner, do not buy this kit. She (SNA) ships two ~12” glue backed Velcro strips that you are expected to stick directly to the leather/fabric on your chair, which, I believe, will permanently ruin the chair. It will probably peel off a top layer of the chair leather/fabric as it gets old or you want it to take off. If the chair is in a community room owned by someone else you might not care, but if in your living room and you’ve paid quite a bit extra for good leather, this kit is not a good idea. So I’m out $12 because I didn’t review this enough before buying (she probably won’t accept a return).The other piece, the leather backrest protector cover (purchased separately), is actually pretty nice. Reasonable quality leather and looks good.So currently I’m trying out other ways to secure the backrest cover in place. I purchased a higher quality nonslip rug pad than came with SNA’s kit and some thin leather laces to try, I’ll provide an update after seeing if it works good enough.

The headrest cover was as described. The item arrived promptly and was well packaged. However, I do not recommend the non-skid backing to the headrest cover. The Velcro included with the item does not adhere well to the non-skid material. It came loose immediately upon application. I will have to replace the Velcro at my own expense. I cannot determine if the product will perform as described because at this point (one day after arrival) the non-skid backing has already partially separated from the headrest. Worst of all strips of the Velcro now dangle uselessly and unattractively behind my leather recliner.

Add the custom non slip feature, worth the extra money. The head rest fabric for our leather chair works perfect. With the add on purchase non slip feature stays in place and a lot better than using a towel. Looks custom.

Chaircover backing is a must, great job of keeping cover from sliding on the chair. Easy to attach to the cover. Highly recommend, you won't be sorry.

Prevents cat from damaging leather.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t stay in place on a leather recliner. Not worth the money.
