Kid loves it, just some words are off
Iβm going to start this off by saying the kid ( 15 months) loves it. He laughs when ever he plays with it, and wonβt even let me put a card in sometimes. So as far as Iβm concerned itβs a success. But I do have to say some words seem a little off, like maybe it is British. The pictures show, what I would call a cookie, but is labeled a biscuit. What I would call cauliflower but labeled broccoli. What I would call dragonfruit labeled pirate. Some other cards are like that, but, once again, for me, the important thing is he loves it.

Good concept but execution could be better...
I was thrilled by the prospect of talking flash cards, but these Also I noticed the titling for some items was either differed with grammar (i.e. a category called Persons instead of People) or terminology (Dragonfruit card is called Pitaya, Steamboat card labeled Steamer, wax gourd, etc) so depending upon your locale these may not match up with local language.Cards were playing-card weight and size, and fit into a blue reader. The reader itself had a power button children will not be able to operate themselves, and the Play and Volume buttons are not clearly labelled so it is a bit hard to navigate. Cards have items on both sides, and once you slide in a card, the reader speaks the word aloud and will repeat the word if you press Play again. Would like the audio to be a bit crisper, but my biggest issue is that items are a bit hard to make out--black print on a purple background, for instance, or a yellow mango on a yellow background. Better contrast or putting the words on a crisp white background would have helped a lot with readability. The images in some cases are quite detailed for the size they are printed which contributes to challenges making out just what you're looking at. A small child will not really be able to operate this independently.

Makes flash cards fun
I would have given 5 stars if there was a volume setting because itβs not very loud. Itβs very easy for my nephew and grandson to use and so many cards to enhance their vocabulary.

Extremely Helpful & Educational!
*** ITEMS INCLUDED: Device to insert cards, set of cards, charging cable and directions. The device comes with a set of cards with various categories such as animals, daily necessities, vehicles, food, jobs, shapes, etc. The cards also have pictures to accompany the words.*** EASE OF USE: This is very easy to use! You take a card, insert it into the device (like a credit card) and the device "talks" - saying out loud the word.My child receives speech therapy from school and I was told by his therapist that there are devices out there to help non-verbal children. I looked into them and was mildly disappointed at how pricey these devices could get, so when I came across this product and saw the affordable price range - I was curious and wanted to give it a shot! I'm glad I did, because this is such a fun yet helpful and educational device that can definitely help your young learner! Highly recommend.
