Very Fine Light Stick for Photography
I have a strong interest in photography and I always keep an eye open for lights and equipment that will help me take more creative or impactful pictures. I selected this light with the intent of using it for creative photography and so far I am pleased with it. I have other LED lights that have similar functions, but this one is different in a few ways that set it apart. This is a wand light as opposed to a square LED bank. As such, the light distribution is a bit different. It can directly cover a longer (wider) area which is handy when putting together a mock-up with miniatures. It has a couple of mounting options too, utilizing either a miniature tripod (included) or magnetically attaching to a metal surface. I do wish a clamp was included such that it could attach to the tripod horizontally, but such clamps are available if they're needed. This light is VERY bright and can easily light a small room when at full brightness. It can be dimmed to cast a soft light too which is good. It's not exactly the most ideal light source but it will work for general lighting in a pinch. The temperature range goes from 2500k (very warm and orange-y) to 9900k (blistering cold white) and everywhere in between. Getting the color just right is relatively easy though it does take a little patience and experimentation to get it right. Do keep in mind that because this is an LED-based light, the temperature band setting is quite narrow and presents a different light profile, one that the camera can see but the human eye cannot. In addition to "natural lighting" modes it can be set for specific colors too such as purple, red, blue and so on.Charging is done via a USB-C port, and the charging cable is included. I have not tried using this as a power source to charge my phone though the documentation doesn't say much about that. A full charge on this light lasts a while, though I have not drained it all the way down to find out how long it will last. Obviously the runtime is variable based on mode and brightness, and what is interesting about this light in particular is that it displays the estimated runtime on the screen based on current settings - this is a nice feature that I have not seen on a lot of these lights. There are some creative modes for use with video or for special effects in a live setting, though the usefulness of these modes is dependent on the user. I personally will never use them. However, in the right hands these might be very useful for a project. There are several effects available, including police flashers, tube TV glow simulation, flickering candle and more. The light comes with a nice canvas carrying pouch that provides basic storage and protection.I really like this light and will be working with it more in the coming weeks and months. It has some nice features and it has good color and brightness ranges. It's not terribly expensive either.

Really nice, but could be much brighter
This RGB light is pretty well built, the mini tripod legs work great, changing colors and modes is easy on the LCD panel, so there is a lot to like about this. My only main negative would be that this does not get nearly as bright as what you might expect. For such a large amount of LEDs, something like a straight 3200˚ setting should be nearly blinding compared to my other RGB/LED lights, even some much smaller than this. Granted this is used to create a very soft light, so the diffusion definitely plays a part, but on my other smaller lights with 2 levels of diffusion, they still get brighter. Granted I am comparing this with other lights that are smaller and cost 1.5X as much as this wand, so all things considered, it's still a really nice product. There are no app or remote controls, but doing it on the wand itself is fine. The carrying case is nice to keep the light from getting scratched up by other gear. It's a nice thin case that still has dense padding without taking up a lot of extra space. If this was brighter, it would easily be 5 stars for this price range.

Very Handy
There's not a lot I can add to the other positive reviews. As a fill light, its flexibility is amazing. The color temp and luminosity has a huge amount of fine control. I'm a stills photographer and am used to strobes that have output setting in f/ stops, so I'd prefer that to 0-100%, but not a big deal.I also find the magnets at both ends very helpful, especially for things like car photography, and I only wish they were a little stronger, as the grip they provide is adequate but a bit tenuous. But, you've got a socket for a light stand, a built in little tripod, or the magnets, so no matter how you want to use this, you're covered. I've also used mine handheld as foreground fill for longer exposures and for light painting, where the color temp adjustments are most helpful, as ambient and scene lighting can be hard to match, especially in mixed lighting environments. All in all I agree that this is a great tool for photography, really handy to have. There is a learning curve, but it's not bad. And to be honest, I have used mine stuck magnetically to the ceiling of my camper van to provide some work light for non-photographic tasks. It's just a handy tool all around.
