Vicks Vapo Pad Family Pack, 12 Count

the pads cost way too much for what it is. should be half this price. it also dont last much. they say it last 8 hours but it wont give a strong scent for so much. i get a strong scent only maybe 2-3 hours or so and then is a weak scent. i could not find a better option so have to keep buy those even if i dont like because theres nothing else. i am also not sure if it really helps much. i still have congestion after using this for days and i tried it many times. it does have a scent but dont seem to clear nose and chest congestion very much.

I know a lot of us grew up with our parents putting Vicks on our chest. There is a lot of research now that while it does clear the nasal passage it causes a lot of phlegm blocking the infant/child's trachea limiting their ability to breath. Makes sense, your nose and throat are connected and when the nasal passage is being cleared where is all that mucus going? Down the back of the throat.My son was recently congested and I tried these pads in his humidifier (wish I researched sooner!!) Within minutes of putting him to bed he was coughing constantly. He woke in the middle of the night chocking on phlegm and vomiting up phlegm. Please research before using this product. It was scary

They are pungent and the smell is not like regular Vicks. After putting in our Vicks humidifier, I removed after about three minutes because the smell was terribleWe like Vicks Vaporub but not this

I bought these and they are great. All the drugstores were sold out due to cold/flu season. I was happy to see them on Amazon and quick delivery.
