dont last
Do not buy the 6 pack unless you intend to use quickly. got to use about two of the six packs in one year and the rest dried up. Company will not send a replacement , even though they say it has a two year shelf life. They will not ship to Canada but say they will refund the money. IT NEVER ARRIVED. and not the product is double the price.

If metal breaks and you dont have a welder
This stuff is amazing and I have a few real life experiences to back it up which is why I ordered the 3 pack this time. My first time really using this product was when my dad bought a car that had a spun crankshaft bearing and we used J-B Weld and shipping bands along with new oversized bearing to get the Oldsmobile 98 running again - Bo Jangles (granted we did use 40 weight oil from then on). The second time was on my 1998 Suzuki sidekick radiator after slamming into to small deer and having its only antler poke a clean hole. After getting it home carefully(luckily just down the road) I was able to used some J-B weld so seal it the leak without replacing the radiator. Now I'm using this now to fix my miter saw blade cover. The embossed nut has broken from the plastic and I used J-B weld to bond it all back together stronger than before.

When all else fails, try this
After replacing the head gasket (five times) on my Chinese diesel engine to stop combustion gases from entering the water jacket, I resorted to covering both the block and head with J-B Weld8265S before reassembling the engine with another new head gasket. Now after 30 hours of operation there is no leak. How long the repair will last I do not know, but it has gone more hours than earlier repairs.

Strone, unlimited shelf life, and made in the USA
As long as the lid is kept on this will last forever, per the manufacturer. I restore Edison reproducers, many of these are pot metal. This will stick to pot metal and allows me to do cold repairs that are easy and strong. I have drilled and tapped for 1-64 screws that need to move. I have done repairs where the top lug holding a .0270 steel pin was broken off, it worked and saved me $200. Before I discovered this I used an expensive product that cost $50 a pound, this works better with much less waste. Clean the areas first and it will stick.

Decent for most projects
Decent epoxy for most projects, however it is subject to chipping. Not for use in a high abrasive environment. Could possibly be sanded, however i did not do this myself. The chipping does make for easier removal from metals when you need to.
