Facts Without Prejudice
Craig has done an admirable job of laying out the facts of renewables, the good bad and ugly, without the typical prejudice of someone bent on promoting a bias. I found the book to be credible, an easy yet thorough read. There's an awful lot to know about the renewable space. The facts can be intimidating and confusing. Craig makes it fun to read, and interesting to "be informed". Enjoy. I did. Jeff

Revealed: The Tough Realities of Renewable Energy
Thoughtful presentation. Through the expertise of his interview subjects, Shields has highlighted the "Tough Realities" represented by the conversion (and oppositions) of technological, economic and political forces that impact the move to clean energy. The difficulties of moving away from fossil fuels are not solely a technical challenge. And the obstacles established by way of vested interests are likewise only one piece of the puzzle, although their impact on the political process is problematic.
