Gentle and hydrating
This is my second soap from The Grown Alchemist. I'm always on the lookout for SLS-free soaps as I have very sensitive skin and tend to have nasty reactions for a lot of typical soaps. This soap comes in a plain white soft packet like a Caprisun. The idea is it reduces plastic waste and it states the packet is recyclable however nowhere local to me will take them for recycling - but they will take a soap bottle - which kind of defeats the point a little as I regrettably had to put this in landfill after emptying the contents into my reusable glass dispenser. However, I am very happy with the soap, it uses sodium lauroyl sarcosinate as a surfactant instead of sodium lauryl sulfate. Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is derived from coconut and is much more gentle on skin and isn't known for causing reactions. I certainly didn't react to this soap and actually found it very hydrating. I usually use Dr Bronner's and I actually prefer this. I may have to convert!

Lovely scent & keeps hands soft
You'll need an existing pump bottle to use this. Smells lovely while using it but doesn't linger too much. A fresh scent, which is naturally herbal. It keeps my hands feeling soft and supple. I find that if I buy soaps that are too cheap they dry my hands out so much that I have to buy expensive hand cream; a false economy.I really do like this hand wash and appreciate the refill pouch to save using excess plastic, but I still don't think I would buy it at this price. My usual is £6 for 300ml (exactly half the price) which I already consider pretty pricey, so this is just too much for me to justify since it's not actually better than that.

Delicate aroma, effective cleaning
This hand wash is really nice. It has a pleasant, delicate aroma and it cleanses your hands without leaving a sticky residue. It is quick and easy to rinse it off your hands and they don't feel dried out afterwards. You can use it directly out of the pouch but it is difficult not to use too much, so it is better to decant it into a pump bottle. I have a nice ceramic pump bottle in my bathroom, so that's where this has gone. It fills it up more than once but it takes up less storage space once you've popped some into your own pump bottle, so space saving as well as being more environmentally friendly. This hand wash isn't cheap but it is a premium product, so you have to make up your own mind if this is worth the extra cost to you.

Hand Wash: Sweet Orange, Cedarwood, Sage - 500ml.
A premium product from a brilliant brand. I have several products from this brand and they are not cheap but you get what you pay for. This hand wash is gorgeous. I am currently using it in its pump action bottle so wanted a refill ready for when I run out.The hand wash lathers well, you only need a little so it is cost effective and smells divine. After use I do not need to apply my usual hand cream as my hands are hydrated and soft. If you can afford this brand I highly recommend for its luxurious feel and effectiveness in cleansing your hands and keeping them soft.

Lovely soap but a bit pricey, if the price isn't an issue I would happily recommend it.
I have this Grown Alchemist Hand Wash 500ml refil in Sweet Orange, Cedarwood, Sage.I already have a bottle with pump from this brand, so I've put it there.Soap has a nice consistency, it leathers well, so only a little bit is needed for one use.I like its scent, refreshing but not overpowering. It leaves my hand squicky clean, but it doesn't dry my sensitive skin.I like ingridients of this hand wash.Lovely soap but a bit pricey, if the price isn't an issue I would happily recommend it.

A nicely fragrant hand wash
This hand wash has a pleasent, slightly sweet, fragrance, lathers well and leaves my hands feeling clean and soft without being dry. It has a clear slightly orange colour which would look good in a transparent soap dispenser. The fragrance does not remain for long after washing your hands which for me is a positive as I do not like having fragrance on my hands when eating.Obviously this hand soap (at £20 for 500 ml) is not cheap. I would say from a cleaning and non-drying point of view it is no better than Carex dermacare hand wash which is my usual go to for refills and is currently £9.60 for 3 litres. From a fragrance and appearance point of view I find this hand wash much nicer than the carex.

Not for me
On paper this looked like a soap with nice scent even if it's priced on an astronomical scale. Nothing of the sweet orange can be smelled by anyone in the family, it's got a very strong scent that is not pleasant at all to us (but of course everyone is different, some might find this nice). To me it smells like petrol. The cleaning effect is on par with anything you can get for a £ and it's got no advantages I can see. £20 for 500ml refill is just ridiculous if I'm honest and I wonder how many people can afford this in the current economical climate. Not recommended.

Smells devine
I love this handwash. I first used it in the lady's room in Crown Hotel and liked the smell and feel of it so much. So I searched it online and bought it here from Amazon. The lovely smell lasts for a long time and it doesn't dry your hands. I think buying the refill is a very good deal. Highly recommend!

Love this product
I discovered this line of lotions at a luxury hotel in Austin. Came home and ordered my own.

No idea why so expensive
This is a nice hand wash, sure, but the value for the small pouch of product just isn't there. The wash seems moisturizing enough, okay, but I didn't notice any grand improvement over store brands. It has been maybe a month and the product is nearly gone, and I am left wondering why I paid so much for it.

Love this wash
Although pricier than most hand soaps, my husband likes this soap and scent the best. Having it in a refillable container is key.

Buyer beware: this is only one pouch.
I’m still giving this 5 stars because I used it before while staying at a rental on vacation and I know it smells incredible, but I am returning this product. This is my fault for not reading more carefully but looking at the pictures I thought this was a great deal on 3 pouches. I’m a student and just not at a point in life where I can justify $30 on a single refill pouch of soap.
