Very nice chisels. I have another set of Stanley Bailey chisels that are nice too, but the steel is not as hard and doesn't hold an edge as long as the Honed chisels.The balance and feel of the handle and steel is very nice. I like the natural wood handle.

I've had an interesting experience with this company. I initially received a damaged set of chisels which had a few small manufacturing defects but, most significantly, had damaged blades.After posting a review here reflecting the problems, the company reached out to me and offered to replace the damaged set. After a frankly pleasant interaction, I received the replacement set quickly and they had none of the problems the first set had. They weren't so perfect as to arouse suspicion, either.The chisels are fairly easy to flatten and sharpen, and after a while using them I think they hold a blade about as well as can be expected. Don't get me wrong - these are no Lie Nielsens, but for only 8 dollars a chisel, they are pretty good.I will mention some of the problems they still do have, for posterity. Most notable to me is a bit of a rough texture on the wood handles. They are far from glossy, at least. There was a bit of a burr on the chisel edges, but it broke off quickly.I would rate the chisels themselves highly for the cost. The reason I give them five stars is the quality of customer service.

It says they are honed to 25 degrees. They are 30 degree chisels. But quite nice considering the price

These chisels are a good bargain for the price. They arrived quite sharp, but are even better after a bit of touching up. A big step up from those of a discount hardware source. You can buy better chisels, but it's going to cost a lot more.

Love these chisels. Finally went through the correct process of flattening and sharpening and these guys are scary sharp. I'm assuming more expensive chisels would hold an edge better and be more refined in their fit, but I have no complaints from these so far.

great for the price. these are perfect for trim carpentry work. need to be sharpened often but hold a decent edge. Don't expect too much, these are chisels to use when you don't want to mess up your expensive ones
