Real Carbon Fiber Side Mirror Caps Rearview Side Mirror Covers for Volkswagen VW Golf R Mk7 Mk7.5 2015-2019 and Golf GTI MK7 MK7.5 2015-2021

I bought these and like an idiot I sent them to the body shop to get cleared so they don’t fog. But I didn’t test fit them first. They don’t fit. Not even close. The angle on the inside edge is way too off. Unfortunately by the time I got them back and tried to install I was behind the return policy. So not I’m out the 80$ for the caps. And the money from the body shop to clear them. Lucky me

The shape of the mirror cap has an indent or warping. Not flush like it should like. The carbon looks decent though

I had bought these mirror caps in March of 2024 and received one with a broken tab.. the seller promptly replaced it and I've had it installed for about a week now. As I was driving home today I looked over at my mirror cap that had just been replaced and noticed it had split apart.. needless to say I'm not happy.

These mirror caps have a thin layer of real carbon fiber on top of abs plastic. I knew this going into buying them. I didn’t think I would have to shave down the plastic and the clips in order to get them to actually clip into place. After I got them on, the heat in Arizona would have them warp and fall off in the parking lot after a couple hours. From my experience, do not buy these cheap mirror caps and just spend the extra $150 on better ones
