Big producers
I had bought these a few years ago and planted a few dozen seeds. All of them came up. We cleared 200 sqft and planted the tomatoes in about 50. These plants took over everything. Grew high and kept producing nice golf ball size fruit all season and well into the fall. Ordered them again to try to recreate that. To my surprise first time around was not a fluke and Again I have great fruit producing plants.

Seeds Raised and Packaged With Care
This family-owned company obviously loves its seeds. And it shows in the way the seeds are raised. In the case of this, the Large Red Cherry tomato, it is noted as being heirloom, non-GMO, and "grown from freshly harvested Solanum lycopersicum seeds, producing delicious, snack size tomatoes. (about 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter) and when ready, bright red. On their website, they. also note they. store the seeds in a temperature-controlled facility, are almost entirely pure seed, and fresh for the year's growing season.Since it is just a few days before Christmas and raining like mad, the gorgeous illustration of the fruit on the front side of the packet is exceptionally appealing and appropriate for a heirloom variety. (Since the company packages all of its seeds with these illustrations I am seriously thinking of buying another dozen or so herbs and vegetables, planting the seeds, and making a collage of the packets for an antique-style frame and matting I currently have hanging over the porch plant shelves. They are that charming.)The back of the packet is loaded with the important information: a timeline for getting from seeds to tomatoes, temperature, sun and water needs, germination and development advice.I am especially drawn to small companies who have deep personal interest in not just selling their product but in seeing their customers' happiness with them. These type of companies tend to be involved in their community and in many cases contributing to positive work to make the world a better place. In spending money with this company, consumers such as myself, can help contribute even as we reap the rewards of our purchases. So since seeds can be purchased everywhere and from so many companies, and many companies are going to non-GMO, why this particular company? I love that they are USA-based, that they care enough to not just make a good product but protect and package it well, that they appreciate, as I do, the beauty and art of it, and that they want to uphold a belief in goodness of food and people, it only makes sense to me to support what we both care about. I will remember that as I hand sow these tomorrow and begin to nurture them on the second part of their journey from seed to tomato.Very highly recommended.

Planting Season is Coming.
Over the years, we have sort of migrated to growing mostly cherry tomato's, with a couple of roma's.I saw these and picked them up.I like that these are large cherry tomatoes since that sort of fills the gap between a cherry and a slicer.I also like that these are an Heirloom Variety and that they are Non-GMO in nature. The seeds arrived and the package was intact.I will be germinating them indoors in a small grow house in peat starters with heating pads.As the season progresses, I will update as to germination and viability.

Successful germination
I live in the south, so we just planted these tomato seeds and I'm happy to report that all we planted germinated. It will be a while until we have yummy tomatoes, but we look forward to them. You can get these seeds with confidence.

Heirloom cherry tomato seeds sprouting indoors in winter
Seed Needs, Large Red Cherry Tomato Seeds are the subject of this review. I'm happy every time I see garden seeds available, especially if it's a vegetable I love to eat. So you can imagine when I saw these seeds I grabbed them quickly.I have an indoor garden which is currently fairly empty so I set up some soil and put in only three of these cherry tomato seeds. I'm happy to report that this morning I already have two sprouts! It's only been ten days since I ordered them, so that is pretty darn good I think. I intend to keep at least one plant going in the garden for as long as possible. The fact that they're heirloom seeds is a big plus to me because I can save seeds from them too.

I have sprouts
They are growing well in my sun room. I’ll probably move them to the green house if the weather stays mild but the look healthy and are growing

seed packet - need to plant and sample fruit to assess flavor
I have a raised bed or two that are going to be the growing media for these seeds.Right now, going into winter, I am waiting til spring to actually plant. My expectation is that 'enough' will germinate, grow and produce fruit to make this endeavor worthwhile. One of the problem with 'mail order' seeds is that quality can vary dramatically. After I 'start' the seeds and through the growing seasons, I will update this review with additional information. For now, 5 stars (but that could change).

Growing Cherry Tomatoes from Seed
I got some cherry tomato seeds online last spring. They were heirloom seeds from Seed Needs. The packet had a pretty picture and clear instructions. I planted them in my sunny backyard. It was exciting to see the first little plants pop up. They grew to about 4 feet tall, just like the packet said. It took some work, but I learned a lot about taking care of them. The best part was when they started making tomatoes. They were really tasty and much better than the ones from the store. I gave some away and saved seeds for next year. It was a great way to start gardening.
