Got it to replace my old one and keep up to date on the latest diagnosis and treatments. Good to have as a refresher, too.

You won't want this if you have blind faith in the medical profession. Since all doctors are not created equal it will help you understand whats going on and ask better questions. Note that some doctors resent being questioned and sometimes it shows. Not much changes year to year so getting one every few years will be enough to keep your annoying doctor questions functioning. Also may help you be healthier.

As a busy physician specialist I often need a source for quick review of certain general medicine topics, and I don’t always have online access. This always current text nicely fills that role.

This is an amazing resource for someone wanting something that covers “everything” but don’t want to break the bank with Harrison’s just yet lol. Came well packaged. Looking forward to using this as a newly graduated Hospitalist. This book is huge so likely will keep it at home to look things up after work. Very satisfied!

I always want more details . Short of suggesting specialty books , I would have loved more detail and the book splint in two volumes . But this is too much to ask .I want more details without being a specialist ,P. Ghassibi , MD , Family Medicibe

I’m enjoying this great resource. So far, everything I’ve researched is informative and includes references. It’s worth the investment.

This book is updated annually, and the 2023 edition is the most comprehensive yet, including a section on Covid. The book, as its title implies, lists the criteria for diagnoses of most medical conditions and the treatments for those conditions.It is a must for every GP out there or for the patient wishing to be educated. I use this as a reference more than any other book.
