While I can't speak to how it holds up in the sun, it has been doing great indoors and keeps my machine looking clean whenever I go to use it.

I have a washer in my horse barn to do all the horse laundry..saddle pads, horse blankets etc. It's very dusty in there and I got this to protect it. Easy to apply, and handy zippers to uncover the lid when you want to use it. And a good value for the money.

Pleased with quality and thickness of material. Function is good with the zippers to expose control panel and front door.The cover is NOT 31"W X 31"D, as advertised. However, it fits my dryer almost perfectly, so I'm happy. My dryer is only 29" wide and 26" deep. The vertical measurement from top of control panel is about 41", as advertised. However, it's a couple inches short of covering the entire vertical sides of my dryer. (See pics)Not that easy to install since you have to reach around the back to tie the thongs together. My dryer had lots of clear space on both sides. If not, I would have had to pull it out to secure the cover by thing the thongs together in the back.Regarding complaints about waterproof-ness: The material itself is pretty waterproof. After installing, I sprayed with hose and water did not go through the fabric. However, if exposed to heavy rain/wind, water could go through the zippers, and certainly through the very top, which is only held together by 3 tabs of velcro. Still, I think it is a reasonable design that will protect the dryer from most rain events.I would definitely buy again.

Lately we’ve been having some pretty strong rain storms and this cover has been holding up great. I haven’t found a rip or nothing and it keeps all the dirty water and gunk out of my top loading washer.

I just purchased a new washer and dryer and wanted to maintain it while located in my unfinished basement. The covers were very easy to install and they look beautiful. I have already washed them in the washer and just threw them in the dryer, and they came out beautiful. I don't even have to take them off to operate the washer and dryer. I am very much satisfied with my purchase and value.

At first I thought it looked durable and would protect my dryer against the elements, primarily rain. It seemed to be doing the job at first, however, after a heavy down pour water still seeped through from the water that settled on it and the top of the dryer got wet. In addition, it doesn’t go all the way down to the bottom of the dryer which leaves part exposed to get wet as well.I do like the design hence the reason I gave it three stars. Was really hoping that this would be water proof however it only protects from small amounts of water.
