This is a panel mount universal J-type thermocouple jack ( or socket). The female connector will work with the standard size, round J-type thermocouple connectors and the newer miniature J-type thermocouple connectors. This will allow you to use thermocouples from almost any manufacturer. The plastic housing is made from durable black nylon and is stable up to 180 degrees.
