These ceramic standard k-type thermocouple connectors are ideal when you need to make a thermocouple connection that can be exposed to high temperatures. The heavy duty ceramic housing is stable up to 1382 °F or 750 °C. The round connector prongs are made from the same metals, chromel and alumel, as the k-type thermocouple wire, they therefore will not impact the measurement. + and - terminals are clearly marked, the - has a yellow dot. The rest of the connector is unglazed clean white ceramic. This male connector can be used with high temperature furnaces, vacuum furnaces, kilns and metal working equipment. It is compatible with standard connectors from omega, newport and other manufacturers.
