Saved me tons of aggravation
My Home Depot had tons of the Envirotile, but no clips, these are exactly what I needed to finish my backyard project.

Cannot see how these can possibly work...
To be honest, I'm baffled how the one reviewer found that these saved them a ton of aggravation -- so far, aggravation is all they've provided me.First: the Envirotiles, themselves, are great for the purpose we're using them for: "paving" a dirt path that our energetic dog runs along our fence line. They've held up great to her most vigorous running, and look like they'll last a good long while.However... in order to keep the tiles from being scattered by her vigorous starts / stops, opted to buy these clips to connect the tiles together. Here's what I found:1. The included instructions (see pic) look just like the ones I'd found when I researched online before buying... line up clip in slot on tile, push another tile up against it, tap on the tiles above the clip with a rubber mallet to set it in place. The blunt ends of the clip concerned me, at first, but it looked just like the one pictured in the directions. And, while my tiles are black vs the brown in the pic, they have similar looking cutouts (see pic). But no amount of tapping with a rubber mallet... beating with a rubber mallet... tapping with a 4 lb. deadblow hammer could make the ends of the clip penetrate the rubber of the tile.2. Thinking that I might be able to help the process, I cut the blunt tips of a clip off at an angle (see pic). Even with a sharp end, the clips wouldn't penetrate the rubber. So I cut a slot at the end of the recessed clip area on the tile with a utility knife, to help it penetrate. No dice... and, as you can see in the pic, I beat the clip to where it eventually broke.I'm glad that the tiles are made of a tough rubber -- that's why we bought them. But the clips that were sent to me to connect them will never work, as far as I can tell. Looks like I'm going to have to look elsewhere to secure the tiles, probably landscape spikes or staples. Unfortunate.
