KAILuna 4-Piece Steak Knife Set,Silver

Saw these at an airbnb we had rented. Liked them so much bought a set for home. Best steak knives I have owned so far!

I own a lot of Kai products. Almost all of them are higher quality than these knives. That being said, these ripply, flashy knives make me feel like a ninja when I'm cutting up slices of ham, grilled chicken, and especially pot roast. Here's the skinny: they're sharp and cut well.

The way they are serrated makes for really nice clean and easy cuts. I use them as general utility knives in the kitchen. I really just wanted a couple "steak knife" sized knives to fill out my knife block but I didn't check the dimensions of these before I ordered. They're larger than any of my paring knives.I do really like them but they seem like they would be hard to sharpen, but with their serrations it will take a LONG time for them to get dull enough to need it. A polishing wheel would probably be your best bet on that far off occasion.Edit: Just discovered today that these are perfect for trimming excess Great Stuff. I use these as general utility knives more than steak knives since they are so large and I have a 4 of them. The double ground curved serration edge and stiff but slightly flexible blade are perfect for flush cutting the excess foam that squirts out around a window or door frame when the foam expands and hardens. Doesn't hang up, easy to control, very clean cuts. Just like all the food I've tried to cut with them.

Beautiful knives, comments from guests each time we put them out. Substantial size without being too heavy as some wood handled steak knives acn be. Cuts sharp upon arrival, as Kai knives always do..

Steak has become so easy to eat ever since we purchased these knives at Christmas. They saw through the meat so well, and feel nice in your hands. You have a good steady grip and don't need to do much work. I would definitely recommend these for value and overall quality. Great buy!

Awesome tool. I love the knives. Everything about them. Versatile. I use them for more than cutting meat during a meal. I was expecting the knife to be daintier. Smaller perhaps. But, after experiencing the effectiveness and efficiency of the tool I have the desire to use it in a number of cutting applications in the kitchen. I find these knives to be much more than I intended, even though they are larger that I was expecting.
