Stainless Steel Wallplate w/ HDMI, VGA, 3.5mm : 75-642

I used two of these face plates to hook a computer and a blu-ray player up to a wall mounted TV. The cords are all inside the wall now, which greatly improves the look of the room. I also took the time to wire electrical behind the television. The faceplate one floor level for the computer looks very nice with the metal.I occasionally get a warning from the TV about having the blueray player hooked up with a DVI connection, which it is not. I don't know if the faceplate has anything to do with it or if it is the cables, or the blu-ray player itself but it indicates to me that I might be getting a funny signal. The message goes away after a minute or so and thing work great, so no complaints.No issues with the product so far.

This does exactly what you expect. You don't need to make any special cables, or do any tedious termination with these pass-through ports. Just take a standard M-M cable, hook one side up to your device, and the other side to the back of the panel, then screw the panel in place. I recommend you add a little threadlock or super glue to keep it from letting go ever. For those connectors like VGA with screw-on capability, there are threaded female connectors on both sides so that it won't let go. I haven't noticed and signal degradation from audio or video. The panel feels tough and resilient. Buy it.

Functions flawlessly. One problem though is that you want to make sure that you install this on a wall with a 2 x 4 stud. Do not try this on the wall with the 1.5 inch metal refers as the depth will not fit.

This was exactly what I was looking for to attach VGA, HDMI, and audio to our wall mounted projector. This bracket requires no soldering or anything. Just attach a normal cable to the jacks on the back of the wall plate. I used a 10' HDMI cable and a combination VGA and 3.5mm audio cable for the other connections. Used a low-voltage metal bracket to hold the faceplate securely in the wall. The end result is very sturdy, attractive, and functional.

Bought 2 and neither one of them worked right had major issues!

The plate is quite made well, looks nice, and the pass-thru connectors used are also good quality. The problem is with the length of the 1/8" and HDMI pass-thru jacks that extend out the backside. Even with the deepest wall box you can find, it's nearly impossible to fit the ends of your cable into the pass thru jacks and still screw on the plate flush with the box. I ended up needing to buy a 180 degree swivel HDMI adapter (and to put the plate on upside-down) to angle the cable to fit up into the wiremold raceway the cables were running into. Unless you have a recessed, extra deep wall box, it is a real pain to get these and the cable ends to all fit. And I had three classrooms I needed to use them for! Shorter pass thru connectors would solve the issue. I like that the HDMI light turns green when it sees power from the device it's plugged into.

Bought these for our conference room. They look great, installed very easily and work perfectly. was worried about the stainless steel cover and how it would look but it fits perfectly.

This is a great wall plate and it arrived promptly.
