Updated Review (In more ways than one): 3.75 Star.
I'm editing my review based on some issues. The key parts of the original review and updates are as follows:The description of this particular projector includes descriptions that are obviously a bit misleading. There's no AV input and no VGA input. That's fine, as I could tell that through the images of the device.Design: I'm on the fence about the design of the vertical projector compared to most having a horizontal design. However, the inclusion of a carry/wrist strap on the device seems to only get a shrug from me. The device is small, but between the PSU and it's actual size, it's not really so portable that you'd carry it around like. Admittedly, I am fond of the lack of built-in battery and lack of wifi/BT features, though, in a time where more and more budget projectors are cramming those in.Sound: See UpdateUSB Playback: See UpdateRemote: Feels like a low-end Roku knock-off, and the position of the IR sensor both makes sense and is a bit counter intuitive. It seems to be on the back of the device, which makes some sense if you'd be sitting behind it. But if you're sitting in any other location, you might have some problems getting the remote to register. (Note: See above about volume control, though.)Picture: From about 9-10 feet from a screen, the image is smaller than I had expected, but that's actually a pretty good thing. It's probably close to projecting an image about 8-9 feet from my estimation. Previous budget projectors I used had a problem of having a projection that was too large and visible pixels and focusing issues became a problem. So far, I really only notice pixels on flatter images like menus or simple graphics. While the projector lacks a keystone adjustment, it has what feels to be a very consistent projection display in terms of quality if point straight at a screen. There doesn't feel to be a very noticeable dip in picture quality from one part of the screen to another if you can find the right focus balance, but the right bottom corner does feel like that's where you'll be trying to find the sweet spot with the rest of the screen.Ideal use setting is going to be in a mostly darkened-completely darkened room. Any significant light in a room is really going to wash out the image. Something like a computer monitor being on in the same room will diminish the quality of the projector image enough to perhaps warrant trying to switch to user configured settings to adjust brightness/contrast/colors.Hooking up a game console and it will probably be hit-or-miss with how much you can get out of it. Bright games seem to look fine, but it does feel like the finer details on anything is going to be lost unless you customize settings in both the games and the projector.POSSIBLY FINAL UPDATE: Nearly One Month Later: Installed Firmware UpdateI made a lot of comments of strange 'dead' spots on the screen from what seemed looked like overheating in the previous updates and reviews. They could appear after less than an hour, or never. But it was always a large, black burn in the screen. I assumed it was something being generated by power/heat in the device, but I had no way to prove or identify. One of the last things I thought to do for this device was seek out a Firmware update, but one DID exist. The update appeared to be dated 10/22, which seemed just a few months newer than the installed one. However, the notes for the update gave me some hope and insight on issues I'd had with the device.-Sound: The firmware indicated that volume controls were now added to the unit, no longer requiring the remote. This was a great addition and I'm glad it's there because this remote is easy to lose. I'm still not quite sold on the volume levels, though.-Power Consumption: The firmware also noted a rather vague update regarding power usage of the device. I've used the device for extended period of time over the last week have had ZERO return of the spot on screen that has plagued me in the past. This leads me to believe that this firmware has had some effect on that part of the problem. I have no proof of this, but I suspect it as the cause/solution of this issue. So far, my most major complaint of the device is gone.USB Media Playback: The media playback features of the device seem incredibly weak, all things considered. It's okay, but it'll just play media and that's about it.So, final thoughts? It's a surprisingly decent projector for the price for casual usage, and hopefully it will last quite a while. That being said, with all the screen issues I was experiencing prior to the firmware update, I'm concerned the lifespan of the device might have been shortened. It seems making sure you have up-to-date firmware helps a lot, though. Keep that in mind if considering not only for yourself, but if purchasing as a gift, since that might greatly affect your enjoyment of the projector down the road.

Size and shape is convenient
Overall size is great! Used it for a day and a half and now will be asking for a new one with the warranty I got because I can’t get it to shine the picture anymore. Rated 5 stars in hopes to get my $10 voucher I got with it

This product has limited directions. I have emailed support with no response. It does not work with my Apple phone, tablet, Amazon fire stick or HP laptop. I am confused then as to how to get this to work? Also how is this portable then? Please respond.

Good quality little projector, just wish it had a different power supply
This is a great little gadget for watching videos with the kiddos both indoors and outdoors, it is just a little difficult for the portability due to it only including a 120v power supply that must be plugged in at all times. If you plan on taking this camping make sure you have some sort of power supply and/or extension cable. True, it is becoming much easier to find portable 120v power supplies, but this adds to the list of items needed to take this places. An internal battery or ability to run from a USB power supply would make this unit truly top notch on the portability level.
