Looks like real cement. Not very heavy. Very sturdy. I ordered the gray one at first but it matched the stone on the front of the house too much. So I returned it & ordered the taupe.

Attractive (Taupe) and durable, size as described. Drainage hole to punch out if needed.

This planter looks really neat, but it arrived cracked. I think the packaging wasn't substantial enough. I am going to try to use it anyway, because I hate to see things thrown away (and it's holding cacti, which don't need as much water). I just hope the cracks don't spread, making it unusable. It has a nice weight to it and depth. I guess it should be wrapped in bubble or something next time instead of just a couple sheets of butcher paper.

I love using these to place 3 4" pots in (ceramic) and change them out when they are done flowering. It's thick and nicely colored.

Heavy winds and hot days cook out flower pots. These are wonderful. The flowers started to thrive immediately after repotting from a darker plastic pot. We made these self watering pots and drilled small holes in the side for drainage. These are a great value and will last many years.The beige color is great and is neutral enough for any brown house. The gradient color looks like metal and compliments all browns and beiges.

This is not a flimsy planter. It is better constructed than I anticipated.

Pretty bummed about the "concrete" look of the planter. It looks very poorly done and heavily scratched.The pot has a good weight to it and was very affordable. I'd hesitate to buy again.Updating my review (01/24) to note that I have bought the larger size as well. While I still wouldn't call it "concrete look" it has held up well and is the best value planter of this size that I can find.
