The front of the bag is made up of several pieces of skull brocade-the silver and black for the flap, the solid black for the front of the bag and the 1 inch scale skulls and crossbones for trim on the front. The flap is centered with a beaded piece of 1 1/4 inch black trim that has metallic silver woven into it. The edges are covered with black satin pleated trim that has been centered with black velvet ribbon and then embroidered with silver metallic x's. All around the front, at the bottom is silvery white ribbon fringe. The front has been decorated with a purple lace flower centered with a silvery white pearl encrusted flower. The cross-body strap is made from reinforced black satin. and is 41 inches long. The back is made from vintage cut velveteen fabric. Attached to the back is a vintage early 1900's colorful flower sequined applique that was originally on an Edwardian opera cape. The back is also edged with the same silvery white ribbon fringe. but it has been enhanced with purple lace. Sandwiched between the front and the back is a layer of purple lace and a layer of black lace. Attached to the bottom, left, is a lovely black lace flower with trailing tendrils of lace. The bag is lined with a sturdy cotton print in black, gray and a touch of silvery white. There is a double pocket sewn inside, on side is large enough to accommodate a good sized cell phone as well as any other articles you may wish to carry.
