I bought this pendant for the stone. I had a setting for a ring that I wanted to put the London Blue Topaz into. The stone measurements were slightly off from what Peora described, so the stone would not work for me. It is a 5 ct London Blue Topaz, but the measurements listed are for a 4 ct (I needed a 4ct). Peora was very nice and sent me my refund quickly.I would still give this necklace a 5 star rating. The color is just breathtaking, even indoors where the lighting is not great. The color is everything you would expect from a London blue topaz. The Setting is very strong and it looks as though it would be secure. I am certain that for this stone to come out you would have to have it removed on purpose by a jeweler. So you don't have to worry about it falling out. The setting is also very pretty. The silver is very solid and the chain is very shinny, thicker, and stronger than you get with most purchases of this price. I would HIGHLY recommend this pendant to anyone who is interested in it. If you think it's pretty online you will fall in love with it in person. I wear a substantial yellow gold piece around my neck, and never take it off, that has a lot of sentimental value to me. Otherwise I would have kept this to wear as a necklace. I didn't want to send it back! Great buy that you will not regret!

This is a very nice piece of jewelry. The color is attractive and so is the setting. That being said I do not believe this is 5 carats as advertised. I have a three carat diamond ring and this was not even as large as that. Since it was only 60.00 dollars I still feel I got my monies worth so I am planning on keeping it. I gave three stars due to the fact this does not appear to be as large as they claim. I am not a jeweler so I will take it to one and ask the size of the stone. If it turns out I am wrong I will update and give five stars. I do believe this is a beautiful piece of jewelry just do not believe the size is as claimed.

this is a 5 star so nice I put it on a better chain but the one it comes with is ok, just thin, the london blue is very beautiful shiny an deep in color, love it.
