Cute for costume jewelry but the gold color is more rose gold not yellow gold

I had shown this bracelet listing to my mum a year ago and she'd thought it was pretty, but she didn't think it was very 'her' because the 'ruby' stones were more red than true ruby. However, when the price dropped to $5.99 just before Christmas, I decided to buy it as a gift for her anyway. I figured that if she didn't like it, at least I wouldn't be wasting a lot of money. I was personally impressed when it arrived! It is so classy and vintage looking! I was even happier that when she opened it on Christmas day, she was immediately in love with it! :) She adores it. I do not know how long the gold plating will last so she wears it for occasions and then puts it away. Definitely not an 'every day' bracelet. But it really is beautiful. Very classy. Other reviewers are correct: the stones are *not* true ruby colour. They are definitely red. I personally think that the red stones make the green stones 'pop' all the more, and vice versa! :)

Gold color too bright!

My 2 granddaughters birthdays are July and August. Coincidentally enough these are both thei birthstones. I bought one for me and my granddaughters mother. When I got ours and saw how nice they were, I ordered 2 more for each of my granddaughters. They loved them.
