Ease of cleaning
I liked the product because of it's easy application process. I used it on the underside cutting decks of my Cub Cadet riding mower, Cub Cadet rear-wheel drive pushmower (brand new) and Earthquake string mower (bought new - used once prior to application). I recommend this product. Use two spray applications for best results!

Not bad, but..............
I purchased this a few years ago, two cans. It seems to work okay on my John Deere lawn tractor, but on my Honda mulching walk behind mower I am getting mixed results. ON the Honda, I remove the blades, thoroughly scrub rh underside of the deck and let it dry and then spray, let dry over night and spray again. I do the same with the blades. I still get the hard build up on the blades and the inner perimeter of the deck in side. I don't know if I would buy it again.

Shake, rattle, and gogogo - easy way to keep your lawn equipment easy to clean.
You already know that string trimmers, mowers, and such really get heavily coated in sticky green pulp, which can be a giant PITA to clean off if you let it dry in place. You know it cuts down on the equipment's function, makes adjustments and repairs take much longer, and cleaning up after a few hours of hard work seems to take too much time when you have the least energy and enthusiasm for clearing the crud. I know, been there, done that. Clean Machine can be a big help if you use it from the get-go, and re-apply intermittently if clean-up seems a bit less effective on repeated wash-offs. You may have been too tired to clean the mower deck one day, then found the gunk was densely adherent to the equipment, making it a dusty, dirty, time-wasting task before you can start using it again. I gave Clean Machine a good trial, using it first, letting it have a good half-hour to dry, then I ran the equipment hard and often. I was amazed to see the accumulated debris just rinse off with the garden hose spray, leaving only a bit of a light dusty film that readily comes off with the damp-rag wipe-down. I take pride in keeping my equipment in good working order, and Clean Machine makes it easier to do that. I value my time, and this stuff gives me that time because I put away clean tools that are ready to use the next time, without fussing around and scraping off the old junk. I think this stuff is effective for several washings between re-application, so I do recommend it. It doesn't need frequent re-applications, and as such, its value increases; just think of time saved by not fooling with old scrapers and dull screwdrivers to dig off the old dried stuff.

far better than stopping a third of the way through the ...
I was skeptical and dubious of this product's claims. I had been hosing down the underside of the deck of my Toro 4260 Time Cutter 42" ZTR mower with the mulch kit with WD-40 before the beginning of each season, which would give some relief from the clogging created by the heavy spring growth and usually-wet early season mowing on my one-acre lot. I tried this stuff last season, and it ended the clogging problem, even when mowing at the 3.5 inch setting. Maybe others who are crying about this stuff not working were cheaping out and giving their mower deck a light coat, in hopes of making the can last for five or six seasons. I started with a clean deck and used the entire can, waiting five or so minutes between "coats" until the can was empty (I have no idea what the instructions said). My mower is still clog free at the start of the current season. I'll probably hose it down again next year, just because. Using this is far, far better than stopping a third of the way through the job to unclog the deck.

It Works - - Sort Of
This protectant works well. I would usually have a sticky buildup under the deck of my mower that would take up to twenty minutes to scrape and scrub off. Sometimes the original paint would come off with the scrubbing. After using Good Vibrations, I quickly sprayed most of the buildup off with a garden hose. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to last beyond a couple of mowings. Each mowing after that is tougher to clean off. You need to clean the deck well and coat it again. For the cost, it is not as effective as I had hoped. Still, I feel the results are far better than a twenty minute scraping and scrubbing regimen. I might try some other alternatives. A pressure washer might work, but there wouldn't be any paint left to worry about after that.
