Q: Do you need to put brackets to hold desk?

No brackets needed. just follow instructions on assembly and enjoy. My wife works from home on this desk and it works out great. The desk can also be reversed during assembly to be opposite of photo.

Q: Can the satchel go on the smaller side of the desk?

No it’s not designed to work on that side, but I personally like the side that it’s on its very convenient lol you could also maybe put holes there yourself and modify it if you’re good with stuff like that, but I wouldn’t risk it cause though the wood is pretty sturdy I think it’ll be easy to mess up or crack

Q: How much weight can the desk top handle?

I bought this for my daughter, she lives too far away to observe this. I know she has her laptop and a monitor on it as well as her paperwork with no problem.

Q: Where can I find instructions? There were no diagrams or instructions included, I can't find it online and the support email has not responded.
