Yummy yummy
The hedgehogs make a b line for feeding station to get to food each night. Empty bowl every morning. They have 3rd of tin each night as well as biscuits and a few special mealworms.

Hedgehogs Prefer It to Anything Else!
The media could not be loaded. My nightly visiting hedgehogs absolutely love this meaty tinned food. they prefer it to anything else put out for them including cat food and dog chub. They will always eat this up first before moving on to whatever else there might be.The tin has a pull-ring and is easily opened to reveal a solid, meaty mass with a smooth consistency. It smells quite pleasant, not strong. It is a bit pricey at around £2 a tin though so feeding the wildlife with this is not a cheap hobby. However, the hogs definitely have a preference for it so it must be good. My cat even had a nibble the first time I put it out, although, he wasn't too keen and never tried to eat it again but foxes also love it! I can recommend it if you want to give your hedgehogs a real treat.

Some got eaten, but this didn’t seem to be a big draw
This dedicated hedgehog food with meat is similar to canned dog or cat food in texture and smell (it’s pretty stinky!). It comes in large-sized cans with easy-open ring pull tops.I put out about a quarter of a can last night to see how this would go down, sprinkling a few mealworms on top. We have a lot of hedgehogs using our garden - there’s one that’s quite active from about 8pm, wandering round various critter feeders; and at least a couple of mating pairs huffing their way round the borders. This wasn’t an unmitigated success. The early feeding fellow turned up and completely ignored the plate with this feed, opting instead to work his way round the unmounted squirrel feeders I have set up at the edges of the lawn (containing a combination of seed, nuts, suet pellets, and mealworms) after discovering that hedgehogs can open them, but less desirable garden visitors seem to be unable.Something had eaten some of this feed overnight. By the time I got up at around 6 this morning the plate was half-emptied, all of the mealworms had gone, and the leftovers were drawing flies like nobody’s business. Will try again tonight and see if the initial unfamiliarity meant uptake wasn’t great. I don’t really want to put less than a quarter of a can out, as I don’t want to be keeping open product for too long in the fridge, but I’d rather throw some out than have a fly infestation.

Hedgehogs!
The media could not be loaded. Food for hedgehogs. Much like dog or cat food in consistency. We’re putting a small bowl of it out in the evenings, broken up with a fork, alongside a bowl of water, in an area where we’ve seen hedgehogs before. We’ve set up a camera to monitor it, and we’re delighted that our first spikey friend has been for some food! Will clean out and refill each evening.

Tins
I ordered this as I’ve noticed a couple of hedgehog in my garden each night as I lock up. I leave water for them but had no idea what they eat so was crumbling up fat balls, when I saw this set of tins, I was excited to try it to see if it encouraged more hogs into my garden. These arrive as a pack of 12 cans (dog food sized) with easy to open ring pull tops. The food is a nutritious supermeat, safe for hedgehogs and I presume for other animals too. The first night I put a fifth of the tin of food out, it was still untouched the next morning and swarming with flies, so I binned it and tried again the next night, I was unable to check if it had been eaten the next morning but when I went to look in the evening, it was all gone and I was thrilled. Each subsequent night I have put this food out and by next evening, it’s gone…. I’ve been feeling so full of good intention and happy in the knowledge that my garden may be the local hog cafe…. Until… I spotted my cat…tucking into this food. I then wondered if in fact my cat had been eating this since the very start. So I pointed my wildlife cam to the food and captured my cat heading straight for the food and polishing it off every morning and in fact no hedgehogs had been dining in the night. So unfortunately, I cannot say whether hedgehogs enjoy this, I do have visiting hogs but they obviously haven’t found this food or don’t want it. I can say however, that my cat obviously loves this stuff and unless I can find a way to leave the food out without my cat getting to it, it’s going to end up as a very pricey cat snack!
