I bought the main filter that comes with the stock filters and these were recommended to add with purchase. So why not if it makes it better. All 3 components together produces some of the highest alkaline water. we tested. highly recommend

Whats the point of having the best water if the replacement filters(cartridges) are hard to find and often unavailable? This IS the best tasting water I've had from a home filter system the likes of Brita and Pur but these filers are pricey and hard to find. So I gave the overall score a 3 because it is a cumbersome process if you don't stock up.

This filter and pitcher are great. Invigorated Water is so kind. All the information I needed for how often these filters need to be changed was provided quickly and they are interested in what you need.

I've been using the InvigoratedWater filter for about 5 years now, and the normal PH001s are great, never had a problem with them. I have tried these add-on PH002s a few times over the years however, and I must say, they have never failed to be an utter pain in the arse.They are impossible to install as they are so stiff to twist onto the PH001s. And after you do finally summon the super human strength required to screw them in place, they will proceed to piss water from between the PH001 and PH002 more so than through the PH002 itself. Even worse, as they flow so slowly, they also cause water to leak from above the PH001 (from the unfiltered water reservoir) - so they actually cause UNFILTERED water to leak into the filtered water reservoir!They make the water taste like it's been drawn from a dusty warehouse tap as well. No redeeming features at all.I contacted InvigoratedLiving about this, who have advised me to simply NOT use the Ph002s, because they do next to nothing else for the filtration! Their exact words:"The PH001s do not require the PH002s to filter the water, the PH02s are an optional add on filter. The PH001s do all the alkalizing and also have a solids isolation layer of 0.5 microns in molecular size so the 002 just adds an extra layer of solids filtration. As the PH002s are a snug fit and take some adjustments, perhaps using the PH001s alone is the better option?"So they do barely any extra filtration.... Just a bit of extra "solids filtration"Of course they then proceeded to refuse to refund me. What an obvious cash grabTake it from me, a 5-year loyal customer - and from InvigoratedLiving themselves - these PH002s are more or less worthless and a total pile of wank. Don't bother, save your money and time, and just stick with the PH001s.

When fitted to PHOO1, the whole front filter sits on top of tap nut below and pushes filter up losing the necessary seal between filtered and unfiltered water. Such a fundamental fault should have been dealt with. Also, very difficult fitting filters together. Returned these filters for refund.

The idea seems to be brilliant unfortunately poor execution and a major design flaw.For a pH Recharge 3F Alkaline Countertop Water Filter Dispenser the first filter does not fit with its length and edge rests over the tap's nut as shown.As a result filter leaves a gap in the unfiltered water compartment and water leaks from it mixing with the filtered water.Also, the filters do not fit correctly and a leaks between the gap between PH001 and PH002 filters making this filter useless.
